Mercedes-Benz M-Class 2002Change

Be careful with these cars. There are no cheap fixes. Oil change runs on average 150. Batteries and Tires you are looking at the most expensive items on the market as replacements. The electronics are also an issue. I had my stereo go and was told by the Benz dealer and future shop that replacing them was extremely expensive and difficult. The car does ride well but be very careful they are not cheap to keep on the road. If you asked me to go back in time and buy this car used again NO CHANCE. I know being Mercedes you need to expect some things are more expensive but not worth the headache. I feel other cars/suvs would have provided me a better choice in hindsight.

It has been a joy to drive. It is solid and handles Canadian winters very well - hugs the road and ride is very nice - especially for a truck frame.

I have had this car a little less then a year now and am starting to see several issues with electrical components. Entertainment system crashed, Mercedes Dealer tells me this happens and no fixing them. Now the rear wiper blade does not work, rear tail light never goes off while driving. I just keep waiting for more bad things to happen. I would certainly NOT recommend getting one of these older vehicles. I have had several other issues and this car to me is just not worth the headaches.

The ride is good the leg room no complaints. As I hear from everyone the engines fun forever its the rest of the car that gives out.

This truck is the most relaxing ride you will ever get. Whenyou drive this truck you will be amazed. It also has a Bode system so it gets better with a 6 cd changer and a mp3 player !!!

The radio has recently gone out and I am told I will need to replace it.

The NAV system was horribly out dated with no real way to update it with what I was given.
Had a few other problems that have occurred mostly minor.

The big expense was a seal that was telling the engine it always needed more fuel.

I would not go out of my way to purchase this model again.

The car handles well and is comfortable but you do feel a lot of the bumps.

I am sure there are better SUV's out there for the money.

Had it since 2005, being the second driver this SUV has never given us any problems besides windshield wiper fluid leak. Overall a mercedes will always be a mercedes. We have sold this one and plan on upgrading to a bluetec in the next month!

This car will never dissapoint you in every way. Ultra comfortable, very quiet drive, always start even in 50 degrees below zero.
The safest car to drive in a snow storm by far.
Very sad to let it go, but I have to move out of country.

Very easy to drive and ride quality and stability is astounding while returning great fuel mileage. Best winter vehicle period.
