I have loved owning my Mazdaspeed and have had so much fun driving it. It's a truly fun car to own and is amazingly practical with the hatchback access...which makes grocery shopping, furniture buying, and beach days so easy and enjoyable. Did I mention that this car is fast!?! Zoom ZoOM

This car is pretty good over all
it does everything i want it to do
well for the most part
little or no maintenance per year
6 speed trans is awesome
it has enough space for your daily adventure and across the country
exterior got some sexy curve, mean headlights, the engine sounds just makes your hair stand up and many more
the interior is sporty and luxurious at the same time
If you ever want a little fun car this is the car for you

Comfort- Seats are good but not as good as the 1st gen speed3, electronically adjustable in all ways, tilt and telescoping steering make a comfortable position easy to find, took it to Toronto from Ottawa and not a complaint. The often- talked about hard suspension is severely over blown in my opinion, as it feels more refined than my previous 2009 Lancer GTS.

Performance- 263hp and 280 ft lbs of torque with a proper mechanical LSD makes for a hot grocery getter. It's too bad mazda hasn't included a button to turn off boost and throttle limits in 1st and 2nd gear. 18" 225 series tires are good but the stock tire should be replaced with a better, cheaper brand once worn out. Turbo is both oil and water cooled.

Fuel economy- Didn't buy this car for that reason, however did hand calculate 34MPG on a 500km roadtrip to Toronto going about 110km/hr. Very nice surprise.

Interior Design- Ergonomics are surprisingly good. Far more leg room when compared to the Focus ST. Not a fan of the red+black splatter on the doors and seats, but definately not a deal breaker. Materials are surprising good compared to competitors, except the the GTi which is audi quality. The Nav screen is small, but actually works very well when using it due to it's location.

Exterior design- Not a fan of the smiley face, so took black as a color to hide it. The side and rear profile are by the far the best angles of this car. Auto leveling/on- off HIDs, LED tail lights, auto dimming rear view mirror, and auto wipers give the car some upscale features.

Reliability- Been to the Mazda dealer for some non- mechanical issues. Items replaced so far: 2 lock acutuators, satillite radio antenna, headlights due to premature seal failure (fogging). Besides these minor issues, nothing has gone wrong to take the car off the road after 24,000kms. Oil changes every 5,000kms with Pennzoil Platinum has ensured motor and turbo stay healthy.

Overall, very happy with the car.

The mazdaspeed3 is civil and easy to drive, until you lay on the turbo. The car instantly turns into a full out sports car. It can take corners as quick as a rwd car while maintaining control over the steering and not having to worry about the back end sliding out. If you can manage to stay off the turbo, the mazdaspeed3 will get impressive gas mileage but thats not realistic. I usually get 450 km per 50 litre tank. Very fun to drive around in and has the power when you need to get somewhere fast!

It is the most beautyfull i ever seen, for his price it is incredible. I own one and i will keep it for a long time because its very tought.

The 2010 Mazda Mazdaspeed 3 is by far the best value at this price-point.

Coming in at around 32,000$, it comes fully loaded with all the options that normally cost several thousands more on BMW's & Mercedes (such as heated power seats, bluetooth capability for streaming music & making calls, and a full navigation solution).

I've had mine for two years and the turbo engine definitely has plenty of kick and will keep you grinning each time you step on the gas (careful though, it gets addictive and that can take a small hit to your mileage).

The interior of the 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 it roomy & comfortable enough for long-distance trips and you'll appreciate the spacious trunk (since it's a hatchback).

Since this car is meant to be on the sportier side, the suspension is a bit stiff, but it has fantastic maneuverability considering the front-wheel drive. I use mine as my daily driver and still enjoy it immensely.
