MINI Cooper 1979Change

I owned my 79 Austin Mini for nearly 5 years. When it was working it was easily the most fun vehicle you could drive on four wheels. I say that coming from motorcycle pleasure cruising. The mini was responsive and peppy. When it worked. There's a reason they say that the Lucas electrical system was the Prince of Darkness. The electrical failed repeatedly and unfortunately a poorly done valve-job on the engine ultimately murdered my little 1000cc a-series. I was very sad to let it go, but I learned a lesson. This day and age they're not meant for daily driving. I recommend them for fun, but never for reliability.
