Kia Sportage 2009Change

I hadn't driven a manual transmission for almost 30 years, but this Kia Sportage was an easy fit. Either city or highway, the ride is comfortable and the gear shifting a breeze. Lots of storage space, clean interior and great mileage.

One of the attractions of this vehicle is that it is inexpensive; however the saying "you get what you pay for" comes to mind. Seemed that after a year or two I would need to go in and get something fixed fairly often; just small things usually, but that adds up after awhile, and it wasn't always small things. Otherwise it was a nice vehicle, very nice inside. Nice for driving on your own or with friends, as it had lots of room. Pretty good on gas too. Loved to crank the music, the speakers worked well.

Kia Sportage is a overall good basic SUV. I would definitely look at the new KIA as long as the fuel economy is improved. Good on demand 4 wheel drive option.

The kia sportage which i bought in 2009 has one of the most comftorable seats i have ever had in a car. The car is reliable in which is it gets me to point a to point b in no problem. The fuel economy is just fine for a car like this

A very reliable vehiicle with average fuel mileage and a great warranty . Would not hesitate to buy the 2013 Sportage.

Very good, I bought another KIa! I strongly recommend it. Sportage's racy styling sacrifices some outward visibility, and fuel economy falls a bit below par for the class. Otherwise, Sportage delivers a host of standard features, an impressive list of luxury options, and the bonus of Kia's strong warranty.
