Hyundai Santa Fe 2013Change

When first purchased, never having had a Hyundai before, I was hesitant. Not with regards to the car itself, as it was attractive to the eye, but I had never had one before (But many spoke highly of it.) My trust was well placed. It was reliable to a fault (my having driven it for three years now and not one has it failed), it is good on gas, comfortable to drive and yes, a little fun. Lots of room for family and friends, and best of all, the technology from Blu Tooth to reverse camera and connectivity to my phone. I cannot speak higher of any car, but I can say, it is worth the money and the ownership.

This is a great SUV, especially if you like to pack stuff, move stuff, go camping, biking, traveling-everything Its a smooth ride and a ton of power. Does really well on hills in the winter and the downhill assist has helps avoid many an accident! The gas mileage is awesome-gets around 475-525 km between city and highway driving. The panoramic sunroof is beautiful, even if you are just driving with the shade open and not the glass roof. Huge cargo space-fits a TON of stuff. Can't go wrong with this car.

Its is really really a good car...with panoramic sun roof.leather sit and 7 seater..my exprience with my car is i feel comfortble while we driving smooth driving and very clean and no damage.we enjoy so much driving this hyundai xl santa fe...

I love the value. The features and comfort compare to an Infiniti or an Acura but without the premium gas , better warranty and with way better gas mileage. My previous vehicle was a Nissan Murano and the Santa Fe is a step,above it. The 2.0 Turbo engine is amazing, with the power of a V6 but the mileage of a 4 cylinder. I get 9.8 l/100km combined city and Hiway. My Murano was over 13 l/100 km. I got this unit loaded with everything but Nav. 100,000 km warranty is icing on the cake although I doubt I will need it, we have 2 other Hyundai's in the family and they have all been rock solid, a 2007 Accent and a 2012 Elantra.

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe XL is a perfect vehicle for a large family. I have been driving this car for 5 months and enjoying all along.

This vehicle looks nice and rides nice but that is where it stops.
My dash has to be completely removed because during manufacturing "They" did not put any felt between the metal and plastic as a result there is a constant banging over the slightest bump,
The rear quarter panel has to exposed to do a step that manufacturing forgot or over looked.

The cup holders in the rear armrest constantly rattle and have to be held in place with electrical tape.

The vehicle is not an early build if it were maybe I could understand but it was not.

Don't make the $ 40,000 mistake I made. MAKE sure that you look at other vehicles in the field.

Like I said in the beginning it looks good and rides nice but it is the ultimate you cant judge a book by its cover.

Would I buy another Hyundai product....NEVER.

For me this vehicle has one major shortcoming. The front passenger seat does not flip forward to provide added length for carrying extra long items, such as 8ft. lumber. I previously owned a 2006 Hyundai Tucson and the back rest of the front passenger's seat inclined forward all the way into a flat position which allowed me to conveniently carry 8 ft. lengths of stock with the rear door closed. Not having the ability to do it on my Sante Fe is a major oversight by the Hyundai developmental Engineering group. I'm confident that there are many owners out there who share my displeasure

Bad experience from the start. The sound system cuts out completely after an hour of highway driving. The stereo was replaced and it is happening again. The paint chips easily. The winshield cracked clear across after a tiny rock chip. Very poor quality. Only 10 months off the lot. I can just imagine what will happen next.

Let’s get the pleasantries out of the way - probably the best looking SUV on the market.

The reality - whilst the 19 inch alloys look good - the ride is similar to operating a pneumatic drill. You find yourself praying for smooth road surfaces and end each journey telling yourself you're going to contact your city/town works team to inquire as to why the roads are so bad in your area.

The reality is - the harsh ride amplifies every bump (major/minor).

Come across a rough patch of asphalt and you're essentially halting any conversation being had in the cabin. They may have removed 200lbs of weight from the previous generation, but it comes with a huge price in terms of sound dampening.

Finally - this 2.0 Turbo 4 Cylinder engine doesn't 'sip' gas as one would think;
I could go on - but it should be apparent this is $43K (Incl taxes) SUV leaves me with eternal buyers remorse.

Has all the goodies I was looking for... lumber seat support is good. Hot/cold seating... roomy... Smooth ride.

I love this car it rides good. It very good on gas now that they changed it to a four cylinder instead of a 6 cylinder. It is a smooth ride and hyundai is starting to build up the reputation as one of the best cars on the market. Very spacious inside and just a good all around ride. Great car and get value go hyundai.

I really enjoy driving my new car. It's great on gas, has pep and is a lot of fun. I would recommend the Santa Fe to anyone wanting a mid-size CUV. It's awesome.

To start out with, the santa fe on first glance, looks like a very nice and new car. Compared with the previous versions I do think that there is a big improvement on the exterior but what of the interior?

Pros:
Has heated seats which you can toggle
Has accessory jack for ipods and mp3's
Very very Comfortable

Cons:
Looks big on outside, not so roomy


Fuel economy?
Like all new cars, the santa fe looks to be more eco friendly, you can toggle the mode of the car between eco mode and others, giving you a freedom of choice.

As well even though it is an SUV it doesn't eat up as much gas as on would expect.

In all the 2013 Santa Fe is a realiable and a very good buy

Purchased new in September of 2012. It was completely re-modeled and has breathed new life into the line. Handling, fuel economy and it has great acceleration on the highway. The 2.0 Turbo has been a great purchase, plus the All wheel drive adds a new dimension to non slipping in all weather conditions. The interior has lots of room and the heated passenger seats are quite nice. All around great vehicle.

makes people's heads turn, i have a turbo, very responsive, much faster then you would think ... especially at top end. stylish, fun, spacious and good price against competitors.

What I like best about the new designed 2013 Sante Fe is the smooth turbo engagement, ride is like butter, Infinity stereo is outstanding, tons of power with great mileage.

lots of instrumentation to learn with this new vehicle (more than I had anticipated) but delighted that local Hyundai dealership offers the opportunity to come to an evening session to go over that which one hasn't figured out, after a few weeks of ownership

so far, I'm impressed - it's nice to drive, but as I'm still in the break in mode, I haven't "pushed" it to see what the acceleration is like on the highway

We purchased a 2013 Santa Fe about a month ago. We love it.
A totally new design. very comfortable, quite a lot of option that came with this trim. especially with this new 4 cycl turbo. You would think it's a V - 6. It's rated as one of the top selling CUV's on the market today.

Good power and excellent gas mileage. Very comfortable along with a sporty exterior. Alot of SUV's can look like a mini van but this model has the versatility for comfortable sportiness and storage
