GMC Acadia 2004-2014Change

Comfortable seating. Lots of technology. Plenty of room to take all of our "stuff" to our winter home. Easy to drive. Only had it a month but are really enjoying it. I think its one of the better crossover that GMC has produced.

Got a small family, works best for long trips, rear seats are alittle deep for car seats so have to use something to balance it out a bit

I really enjoy driving this vehicle as it drives extremely smoothly. It is extremely spacious as it can comfortably fit seven passengers. It is perfect for families on the go and for riding in style. It has a bit of a sporty feel to it but is also quite reliable.

Beautiful looking car with great options. North American made which keeps the economy going. Great interior and feels like a glove when you sit in the drivers seat.

Love the Acadia. Great for a family of 5 and seats 7. Very reliable has never let us down. Liked it so much we just bought a new one.

Purchased ours used in 2011.
Since (Just over 4 years) then we have spent roughly $9,000 in repairs (not maintenance). That cost does not include the warrantied timing chain, catalytic converter, numerous recalls and other warranty repairs. It also does not include the free parts that GM Canada offered because of the repeated problems.
The Acadia has 3 catalytic converters, they have all been replaced at 125K and that was after one was replaced under the warranty at 90K.
We have replaced every plug coil (130K), the timing chain (90K), repaired a leak caused by a defective moonroof drain tube, the entire power steering system (150K)
The only reason my score isn't an absolute zero, is that it is a comfortable vehicle and quiet practical since we have 3 kids who all play competitive sports.
Customer service has also been a battle, had to take matters to CAMVAP at one time and was awarded a refund on repairs. Those repairs are not in the total either.

Do your research and have it inspected by a third party before you buy.

This is great vehicle for people or cargo. Easily converts to cargo space and back. Always kept in a garage and primarily highway miles. I have always used synthetic oil in this car. It is a sharp looking and comfortable.

Car has been a great vehicle with a lot of room. Third row seating folds down for extra space in back. Comfortable ride. Bose sound system.

able to get my 3 kids around in there car seats no problem, even had room for 2 more people, i had two car seats in the middle and one in the back so i could put big stuff in the back when i folded down the seats, great for winter driving with the AWD

great suv i had cars, truck, vans and this is the best so far. towing ,traveling hauling it does it all the best I have done on gas is driving from ohio to home Chateauguay quebec on gas was 800 km on a tank of gas I found it to be good. when I go down east there is some differents in the gas per km more hills but I still think it is good for me . it isn t a small car but I am relax and lots of room in my suv

I being driving Acadias since late 2006 this is my third Acadia Denali and will not conceder nothin alse. great and perfect for families. Very reliable

Great all around vehicle. Good looking,very comfortable, loads of cargo space, and surprisingly good hwy mileage.

This is a great vehicle for large families with lots of room which make it very comfortable for road trips. Perfect alternative to a minivan. Great on gas for this class of vehicle.

We were a little nervous purchasing this vehicle with the reviews of the 2007. However, this vehicle has not disappointed us. We have 180,000/kms on the vehicle and have just replaced our brakes for the second time. The kids are comfortable in the back and we take extra kids with us all of the time from the soccer field. Not too crazy about the gas usage but it is a truck and it seems that most of the vehicles in this range are pretty close to the same consumption. Our favourite feature is the heads up display. I would highly recommend this vehicle and we are currently looking a purchasing a 2014

large space , very comfortable seats, view. average fuel 11.8 L/100km. very quite, remote starter is good for winter, backup aid works perfect for large SUV's safety, also less insurance premium.!!

Great for our family of 4's every day lifestyle including getting groceries, transporting sporting equipment and packing it up for trips to the cottage. Great for keeping kids entertained with the DVD player in the back, this includes USB features to play music and movies from a USB drive. Great overall SUV!

I have owned my Acadia for over 2 years, and absolutely love it! With seating for 7, I can bring friends along for my kids when we take day trips. The ride is great, styling is amazing, nothing bad to say at all about this car, definitely my favorite car that I have ever owned.

After 5 years and 197,000kms I sold my Acadia and bought 2013 model. This vehicle is very solid and is a fantastic highway vehicle. It's been a reliable and safe vehicle and I would not hesitate to reccomend the Acadia. I could wish only for more third row room and a bit better fuel economy in town.

Well we're approaching 180,000kms and the car is on its second transmission, there are warning lights up on the dash everyday. Our ownership experience has been unpleasant to say the least. The car has poor performance, poor fuel consumption and poor reliability. The only thing I can praise it for is being able to transport a family of 7 in comfort but other than that it hasn't been of good service to us which is why we will never buy another one or any other GM product.

This car has given me a lot of grief. Always seems that something goes wrong. Like the size and the vehicle, just many problems.

I have been used GMC Acadia SLE AWD for two and half years. It can carry 7 passengers and a lot of luggage. I use it to tow my travel trailer in camping season. It is a reliable and comfortable vvehicle

our gmc acadia has brought us everywhere we wanted to go last summer we took a road 3000km road trip from calgary to seatle then back in extreme icy condition. the all wheel drive really made me feel safe when i saw other cars skidded and crash into each other.
