Ford Taurus 2004Change

Am driving this car last 2 years always keep maintanance up mechanicly new tires. Dependable car drove to californa and lasvegas no problem. Its fully loaded cruse A/C so everthing is in good condition. One thing is I dont keep records of my cars but when u take it for drive you will see its wort every dollar am asking. its amazing gets me and my kids to places not many problems with it never broke don on the road and i just love it. i have lots of good memories with that car

Most probably this would be the first car that I will buy. It's cheap on fuel and insurance. All the people I know recommend it.

This car handles well. It is comfortable for the driver and passengers. Takes corners well. Lots of power.
Cup holders a little awkward to use in the front.
Terrible gas mileage. Paint is peeling. In the bitter cold the doors won't open. Once open the latch won't work and the door won't close. Not the greatest on winter roads. That is with brand new winter ice/snow tires.
A great summer car if you can afford the gas

I purchased my car 2 years ago. I never had any problems with it in those 2 years. It actually never went into the shop! It is a very comfortable and roomy vehicle with enough power to make passing a breeze.

been riding in this car for 7 years and the car isnt the prettiest but i love it. comfertable spacious reliable and able to get you to place to place what else does a car have to be.

The car is great i have had it since brand new. i have over 300000 kms on it and it is still running great. good fuel economy. the car lacks comfort on long rides but when its daily communting its great. the cars exterior design isnt the nicest looking but in todays economy looks dont matter right.

My major complaint with this car is that the doors freeze shut in the winter, due to the poor design of the weather stripping. Imagine being late for work and being unable to shut your door, not enjoyable.

It has terrible gas mileage. I go through more gas in a week than some people do in a month. It has a fair sized gas tank so filling up is painful on the wallet.

I've had problems with the alternator, rear stabilizer bar, wheel bearings, suspension, heating / air conditioning system, and of course, the doors.

It is comfortable, but nothing special.

Great value for the money! I bought this car last year as my first car, and I have not had any problems with it. The outside is not that pretty, but its a decent car overall!

The older Ford Taurus is a nice car . I do not understand why Ford changed it and priced it out of the average person's range.

This car gets really terrible gas mileage, considering its age. It gets 20MPG, which means it's a HUGE gas guzzler!

The interior is comfortable to sit in, and the ride is very smooth.

The cup holders are in an awkward spot, that makes using the gear shifter annoying (you can knock a cup out of the holder just by putting the car in drive!).

We've had very few maintenance problems with ours. Wheel bearings have went multiple times, we had to change the starter once, the alternator has went, and the air conditioning / heating system has a problem. Other than that, it's a dream to drive.
