Dodge RAM 1500 PICKUP 1996Change

Bought this truck for really cheap and it was been the most realiable vehicle that I have ever owned. It has the four wheel drive so not much place that I can't go with it and also it is a six seater so you can take all your buddys where every it is that you want to go. Would have been better if it had the four doors instead of just the two but still a great truck

i bought this truck second hand. it was very fun to drive and i loved the look and feel of it while driving. the fuel economy was not good at all, i ended up having to spend a lot on fuel. the interior design was appealing, very comfortable, but it could have been a little more stylish on the inside.

nothing but problems and repairs and on and on with the costs and the gas consumption is ridiculous and unless the performance and gas consumption is corrected would not buy a ram again

I love this truck, It has all the power I need, And I abuse this truck on a daily basis . Starts everytime ,hauls heavy loads with out any problems whatsoever. this truck is getting old, however it's to good to discard, I think I will be restoring it back to it's glory day it rolled off the assembly line

Some of the 1996 models with the 318 engine were know for transmission issues. The unit I owned had tranny work 3 times over two years. I knew of two other people with 96's that also had problems. Beware. On the other hand my father still owns his 96 ext cab and has never had an issue with the transmission and he is up to 250000kms.
