Cadillac CTS-V 2004-2013Change

This is a fast and luxurious car. The 6.2 L supercharged engine has instant response unlike the crop of 2 L turbocharged cars. I like the different modes that allow you to select the suspension and shift speeds, touring, sport and competitive. It is beautifully finished with excellent paint and clearcoat. Even the alloy wheels are clearcoated. I have owned 40 cars and this is my favourite and also the most reliable.

This car has everything you would want in a sports car like the crazy speed, sleek design. Lots of Space in the Hatch. the Wagon can fit a new BBQ in a box in the back, I did this last summer.
Just be prepared to have a lot of visits at the Gas Station. Highway driving on a full tank you will get 350km and city driving you get 300km. I do Refer my car as the Gas-Wagon.
Well worth the Pit Stops at the Shell Gas Station as the Car is unlike any sedan/wagon out on the market. I would recommend this car to any one who has the need for Speed 0-4.seconds in a Heart Beat.

over 110 000km and no problems other than a wiper motor and oil changes . bullet proof car that still impresses. IF you can work a manual and hypermile the car can be used as a daily driver while pulling back milege on the highway

GREAT CAR/ FAST/ Smooth/ Lots of performance.
IT WILL HIT YOU at the gas pump as it is a gas hog!!
But well worth it.

VERY VERY Rare only a hand full of cars in Canada with this power train combo. Extremely fast nick name "King of the 1/4 mile" Alot of fun to drive very addictive. Still turns heads both young and old. I will be sad to see it go as I'm the original owner since new. I purchased the car from a dealer in Burnaby. You will have to spend a lot more money than this to get this much car!

Car is very fast, very comfortable, LOVE the heated seats. Shopped for a long time to find the right one, and glad I did. Is a joy to drive.

Styling is beautiful, handles like a dream, power to spare...why would anyone ever buy a european luxury/sport car ever again?

This is the best car ever made. It is truly a dream to ride in and drive. Handling is great and the pickup on acceleration is fast and responsive. When engine is warm, some hard shifting between 2 nd and 3rd, but goes away after a few miles. the interior is very luxurious and has all the bells and whistles. The Bose sound system is great and really pumps out the tunes while driving. The interior is very quite (when stereo is off) and very little road noise can be heard. the sunroof is slow to close but really gives the interior space a open feeling when open. Lighting could be better in the interior when it's dark out but overall it is a great car that is easy and fun to drive.

i have never been in a better car.this automobile is the most comfortable ride i have ever been inside of.the power,the elegance and the absolute feeling of greatness is what you get the moment you place yourself inside this vehicle.there is no other automobile like it.its a gentlemen's office and a true work of art!when your inside it and driving around the city or even on the highway you are sure to turn heads as you pass by motorist who cant help but stare and wish they were sitting exactly were you are.CADILLAC is hands down in a league of their own.

We've had this car for 3 years and it's been amazing. It's hard to get used to driving other cars because of the performance on this one. The one thing that really grinds my gears though is the pillar in the front. It blocks the view a bit but you get used to it. I let my kids drive it because it is so easy to drive. Overall a very nice luxury car. I recommend it.

My mom bought me a CTS-V for my 16th birthday and it is absolutely great! I drive it to night clubs downtown and it gets a lot of positive attention. This car is so comfortable but it is not like older bulky and big Cadillacs, it is agile and fast.

i adore this car tons of power lots of speed nice design and great interior all for a rather reasonable price. you could go and pay a ton of money for a car that is equivalent to this one that may have a better exterior but i'd choose not to

My husband has a CTS V and I call it his mistress. Its a beautiful car that get lots of head turns. Smooth, comfortable ride.

Took the 2013 Cadillac CTS-V for a test drive two weeks ago. From my favorite Cadillac dealer . A great smooth ride, with plenty of 'Go' from a dead stop to plenty of 'GO' along the Highway. I love this vehicle. Superb handling and braking and the transmission also had a smooth transition. Truly my favorite Cadillac thus far, and I have loved Cadillac's ever since my Dad owned one in 1988. By the way I took my Driver's Test in my Dad's 'Caddi' and earned my Driver's License, a great day in my life . Thanx's Cadillac!

I purchased this car new about a month ago and have had nothing but fun in this thing. It has gut punch musclecar performance, and plenty of room for most things you need to do. The magnetic shocks make for an excellent ride and the sound system is incredible. Not a bad way to drop 60 grand. I'm a little concerned about winter, with all that power and a rear wheel drive. The dealer assured me that I would be fine anyway. All in all, I definitely recommend giving this one a look.

Performance / Fun factor
-The car is fun to drive
-The performance is the higher end of what you get at this price point
-With that said the 400 hp V8 Camaro feels more fun to drive than this even with its 550+hp.
-That said its an acceleration monster. Get ready to feel the G force while its engine sings for you.

The Cadillac factor makes this more refined than a Camaro, however if that does not matter, stop looking at this and get the newer Camaro that has this engine.

The most interesting fact is that this has a similar horsepower rating to a BMW M5.
While its not German engineering, you have the opportunity to get similar performance results.

Cons
-(Some) parts of the Interior trim build quality are terrible! In my experience I have had the plastic handle components for the lever to tilt the seats forward come off more than once.
-Four seats? really? as with all cars in this category its just a suggestion and for occasional use. Expect this to seat two in its general use.

Overview
Buy a Camaro to have fun.
Buy a CTS-V for a better handling experience and a more refined driving feel.

I recently had the chance to drive this car one afternoon and wow i was impressed.

I love the exterior styling and the interior is absolute luxury.

The CTS-V's power is unbelievable and gave me the feeling of being a fighter pilot.

If i had the dough i would skip the luxury imports and grab one of these domestic beast!
