Audi R8 2008Change

The Audi R8 features an exotic aluminum space frame, and a mid-mounted compact V8 engine making 420 horsepower. The most stunning feature is the clear Lexan cover over the engine, with LED lighting to show it off. The R8's skin was designed for efficient aerodynamics, by the same team of engineers who designed the R8 racing car; an underbody diffuser creates downforce to keep the R8 on the ground at its top speed of 187 miles per hour. It will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds.

I like this car. It's comfertable and reliable. Doesn't break down and gets me where I need to be...............................................................................

its a very attractive car and i would like to drive it again but unfortunatly i do not have the money

super nice car in total very good very fast attracts the chicks , very sporty and very confortable the same time.

I tried a number of cars including an Aston Vantage and a Nissan GTR before buying the Audi.

The Aston didn't feel that special. It reminded me of my old TVR days all be it better finished and nicer to look at. The GTR was very fast - amazingly fast. But again it didn't feel that special and left me a bit numb - I also found the ride very hard compared to the Audi.

The R8 for me was the complete package. It looks gorgeous, sounds lovely and you don't need to drive it fast to appreciate it. It may not be as quick as the GTR but it is plenty quick enough for road use and it comes with more smiles per mile than any other car for the money.

OK its not particularly practical when compared to a saloon, but for a mid engined sports car it isn't bad with the boot upfront and the space behind the seats. Servicing intervals are great and the costs are reasonable.

Fuel consumption is low 20's unless you drive it hard.

All round it is a fabulous car!
