Good Value
Good small SUV
130000 km and transmission still strong
Brakes just done now and rotors in great shape
AC did need recharging once
Minor problem with heater blower resistot (but an easy repalcement)
Rear hatch window did implode but apparently a defect from factory

Great vehicle
This vehicle is big and has lots of room. Especially if your tall, there is lots of leg room so your not all cramped. The only downfall is that its hard on gas.

Better than expected
Bought this little suv cause I wanted to tow something behind my motorhome. It is my everyday driver and I just love how easy it is to drive, park and still looks good at 7 yrs old.

Impressive little suv
Having owned true 4x4 vehicles, I was skeptical as to the reliability and performance of the Escape. I couldn't have been more wrong. We drove to Mont Tremblant from our home between Ottawa and Toronto at Xmas, in a snowstorm. The roads from Montreal to Tremblant had not been plowed and the snow continued to pile up. This little SUV plowed through everything that old man winter could throw at it. The driveway into the Chalet had a foot of snow and the Escape went uphill through it like it was dry road. Impressed and very happy to have purchased this vehicle.

2010 Ford Escape

Engine should be recalled
I absolutely LOVED this vehicle......until now. Started having rough idling & engine light on a couple of months ago....no one could diagnose the problem $1100 later I find out that #2 valve is burnt. Seriously?? This car is only 4 yrs old, how could this happen? Could it be related to throttle body issue? I have been quoted by Ford $2200 to fix the valve....unacceptable. They should do a recall. I will NEVER buy a Ford again.

Good car for the family
Excellent vehicle 3.0 L/ 24 valve SUV, seats 5. Very good on gas and drives . I bought the car for my wife, but it's very fast for her.

Great vehicle, Very functional & reliable
This is my second Escape and this vehicle has treated me very well. It is a very functional and great looking little SUV and has been very reliable. Vehicle has had all regular preventative maintenance done. Pretty good on gas, and great in the winter.

Reliable safe good looks!
Excellent SUV! Fully loaded with all bells and whistles makes this a great vehicle to own. It is comfortable, powerful, dependable and excellent on winter roads and snow. Ample car space for making trips. Navigation useful. Voice activated sync system allows for hands free while driving. Excellent for those needing to make frequent calls!

Excellent, safe, reliable fun to drive! My baby!
I have had no issues with my escape. It has been extremely reliable and has provided excellent response on our winter roads. The cargo space is terrific. The navigation system is wonderful for navigating unfamiliar territory and especially cities! Heated seats and all the extras make this vehicle a joy to drive and ride! Love the look and style of the mid size SUV as opposed to the newer style. I have purchased a newer similar look vehicle with same options otherwise I would not be selling my escape!

I really like this vehicle!
I am very satisfied with this vehicle, it has been more than enough for daily activities, but even better for travelling, comfort and plenty of space.
Personally like the exterior styling, I don't know... it looks like a big truck but it doesn't sound or consume as much gas as a big one.
I hardly recommend it.

THESE ARE AWESOME LITTLE SUV 6 SPEED TRANNY IN 2010 ARE UNBELIEVABLE FAST

Great little SUV
We've had a 2010 Ford Escape for over 3 years and love it. It is a super economical car to drive (we can get 8-9L per 100kms in the city!), and also hauls kids, gear, and whatever you need to haul. It is safe, comfortable, stable, and even fun to drive!

Ford Escape Limited rocks for city and hwy driving
This is the most reliable vehicle I have owned. The White with chrome package trim looks smart and gets noticed! That's just the wrapping though.... while driving, visibility is outstanding and there is every creature comfort. Driving city or highway is a pleasure and the bonus is fuel economy! My business is grateful to only fill up once a month!

I love my Escape.
I love my Escape. I always wanted one but my husband is a Chrysler man. I finally talked him into letting me buy my Escape. Easy and fun to drive. Lots of room in the interior.....My niece also has an Escape and wouldn't trade it for any other SUV!!

Suburban Hotrod
Firm, crisp ride like a sports car. Ground clearance that doesn't bottom out and get stuck in deep snow. Pavement warrior that doesn't mind a dirt road either.

Driven sensibly, this V6 gets gas mileage that will embarass a lot of 4cylinder wanna be SUVs. But has plenty of "Giddy up & go" when you need to merge onto the hwy or pass safely.

The V6 Escape's traction and stability control keeps all that power in check. Sometimes it's hard to believe it's not AWD.

Seating for 5, but comfortably seats 4 adults that are 6ft+

I love my 2010 Ford Escape XLT V6!!!

Great on gas,poor on performance n style
Not enough room for a family of 4 or hardly any cargo area at all for storage too but great on gas if you are constantly on the road.Not comfortable at all,very basic and not recommended for long road trips.Never will buy again.

Perfect for Winter
Absolutely fantastic in the snow. Have never been stuck or felt unsafe in any driving condition. Has great pickup for a SUV, handles well, and is very easy to operate in general. Gets 7L/100km on the highway. Only downside is the interior isn't very modern, but highly practical with a great sound system. Love this car!

All purpose vehicle
Small enough to be fuel efficient. Big enough to be comfortable.
The V6 has way more power than any sane/safe driver will ever need. But, on the highway, gets as good or better gas mileage than a lot of 4 cylinder vehicles.

Seats 5, but can even accommodate 4 large & tall adults very comfortably. I am 6ft 1". With the driver's seat set for me, I can sit in the back, knees straight and I don't touch the back of the front seat.

Roomy, not bad on gas
I have a basic model. It is reliable, good on gas. A little bit noisy when going over bumps. Overall, I would consider a new one.
