Honestly, I have been driving my Cruze for an extended amount of time now, and I enjoy the fact that it is a stick shift, and it has the ability to save on fuel economy pretty easily. Although this is true, you can also have a grand amount of fun driving it - mainly because it is a stick shift. My Cruze generally hold around 800KM of gas, and it can last over 2 weeks if you drive ethically and not rambunctious. Overall, the Chevrolet Cruze is a very reliable and entertaining vehicle. If you are looking for a nice work vehicle, I suggest this car to you.

Decent performance with awesome fuel economy and very reliable. After 7 years only regular maintenance, tires and an 80 dollar sensor.

I think that Chevrolet cruze is the best car for students because it doesn't spend too much gas its price is affordable it is strong enough and Chevrolet has combined the strength and durability and style in one car its pieces are not expensive. And at the end it is American car

its super comfortable to drive! Never gave me a problem, got it from a certified dealer and has been nothing but great. Perfect summer and winter car for anyone!

No repairs needed. Just oil change and routine brake work. Love this car, so reliable. Great on gas.

I purchased my car in December 2010. The turbo engine is good if you are out passing a vehicle. Have only had it is for recalls, it was a new car so recalls are to be expected. The only thing that I am disappointed in, is that I have stone chips in paint behind the back tire on the drives side.

This 2011 fully loaded car is. great in Traffic or on long trips.

I bought the car new in 2011 and it has just over 40,000 km now. It's been recalled by GM three times so far, and a few other problems cause me to wonder about the car's long-term durability.

Persistent high-pitched squeeking in driveline, even when coasting with engine off/trans in neutral - not brakes, not stones in tires or wheels, not wheel bearings or CV joints - dealer could not replicate problem on three separate visits - ongoing concern.

Because the wheels sit so far outboard of the chassis, the fenders barely cover the tires, so my car has a high degree of paint chips on the dog legs aft of the rear doors. Sand and grit on winter streets were the culprits.

Three rear window defroster grid lines failed. Dealer tried repairing twice, but ended up replacing entire rear window (n/c - warranty).

HVAC controls became intermittent then stuck on defrost - actuator lever inside dash panel was detached - (dealer repaired n/c).

Trunk release button (exterior) failed. (dealer replaced n/c).

Other small problems but space does not permit.

Mine is a 1.8 L with the 6-speed manual trans. Best highway fuel economy was 5.4 l/100 km with a 70kmh tailwind. The 59-litre fuel tank gives you 900+ km of highway range. City range is about 600 km +-. Air conditioning kills fuel economy.

The car has only adequate acceleration, but very impressive handling especially over rough roads (better than my 2004 Mazda GT).

Stay away from models with the 1.4 litre turbo engine, unless you like spending extra $ for more frequent oil changes and, ultimately, very expensive turbo repairs down the road.

Be advised that the 1.8 litre engine has a rubber band for a timing belt, so it must be changed no later than recommended in the owner's manual.

Overall, I could recommend a 2011 Cruze LS if you are not planning on keeping it longer than its warranty.

I have had nothing but problems with this car, unfortunately. I had to get a new bearing in the A/C fan with under 40,000km and a new water pump as well. There was a recall because of the oil dripping underneath which had potential to cause a fire, so the dealership cut a huge hole underneath exposing many parts to the road. Right now it shakes when the car is turned on and during the acceleration and deceleration, it is making a loud humming noise that has to get looked at. The A/C doesn't get very cold either. One other person I know has problems with their 2012 model as well. I'm currently over the 60,000km warranty and concerned about future problems.

Experienced great gas milage on a long trip. very comfortable. The 10 Airbags give you a sense of great safety

This car is great to get around town with. On the highway it is good, but a little sluggish, but the ride is good, both in town and on the highway. I am 6 feet 2 so it is a bit difficult to get in and put of...there is not enough space between the steering wheel and my kness when I get in and out.

I bought my cruze in 2011, since then i been rattled with problems with the car, ac broken, parts on recall, all within the first 6 months. Would not buy another chev car in the future turned me off completely

Handles well, great turning radius, comfortable econo car for a tall person, and it looks good. Fuel economy is as good as I expected since they always advertise better than reality. Quite satisfied with my new ride. I am extremely pleased with my new Chevy Cruze.

This car does an average of 7.1 L/100 km. It's so fuel economic!

The interior is comfortable and spacious, even for adults to sit in the back. The trunk storage space is very large too.

Overall a great car!

I like my Cruz for its gas mileage and usability. It is not flashiest car nor does it have the most leg room you will ever find but for a good reliable commute car it rates well. I can fit both my young boys in the back comfortably but I can tell you know that you are not fitting four adults in there and not complaining about it. All and all its a good small vehicle.

We have had the Cruze for 18 months and absolutely love the car. Having owned many cars and trucks this is certainly among my all time favourite. The fuel economy is amazing and it is a sleek and sporty car. We haven't had any warranty issues and service is a breeze. I feel like a shill for GM but trust me my Silverado Pick-up is a dog so that isn't the case.

Lots of room inside the car but it is a little tricky getting in and out, I'm 6'1" 250 pounds so by no meand am I tiny.

It's quite the experience driving the Cruze. Always reliable, excellent in comfort, safe and fun! Sad to see it go but will definitely purchase another Cruze somewhere in the future.

the car is great except I find iit a bit small - I am 6'2" / 250lbs and it is a bit cramped, especially getting in and out. Fuel economy is average, the car gets ten kilometers per 100 litres, so is is not bad. The traction control works well. I gives you good control on icy roads. This is also true of the antilock brakes, you have control over the car at all times/

Bought it as my first car. I love the size, colour and contour of it. Not too big and not too small. Easy handling on the road and on ice or slush. Nice interior, holds up well and easy to clean and take care of.

Very good city car with excellent gas milage. A good car to start off as your first car with a big trunk and enough seating for two in the back. Great traction with the tires and wipers work great. Good sounding stereo with cd player

Great value for your money. I have had no problems with it at all, excellent on fuel, and looks a lot more high end than it really is, especially on the inside. For a less expensive model, Chevy did an amazing job with the design in terms of look, it does not look compact at all and in silver it looks quite sporty. There is a ton of trunk space, and the interior makes very good use of the space available. It came with XM Radio too which is awesome.

this is a really good car that everybody would enjoy. It a smooth and gentle ride with a nice sport side

Seats are a little uncomfortable and performance in snow is not very good with stock tires, you should get snow tires
