Chevrolet Cavalier 1977-2013Change

I got this car second hand.It was a rent a car for a year.The best money I ever spent! I kept it for 12 years and it was still going when I sold it.Easy on gas, a cute sporty looking car.

The car has no a mileage of 230,000 kms. We bought it when it was 4 years old at a mileage of 90,000 kms. We have had no issues over the years except for the normal maintenance. Very reliable and great vehicle.

We purchased this car to replace a minivan and were greatly surprised by the overall fuel economy. The ride itself is a little boxy, and the interior could use some work, but overall very nice

nice little car, i've had it for many years and have never had any problems. the vl model which I have doesn't come with a/c standard, or power windows/locks, which is why I didn't rate it higher in Comfort

I've had this car since brand new, 240k on it.. No major problems to date. Very reliable and economical car. No issues at all.

this is our second 2000 Cavalier, and both of them treated us very well. the first one we had for about 10 years and the second one was driven by my husband's mother and we've had it now for about 4 years. i highly recommend this car. in fact we may be looking again in the near future for another car and we know that the cavalier is very high in our rating.

the cavaliers are such reliable cars. they are fuel efficient and only take $40 to fill the tank. why would i want any other car except for this one!!!

car it self have no complaints about other than it doesn't like winter. but its cheap on gas, and parts are cheap as well. good car for someone just starting out

Its not a bad car, doesn't look ot bad, smooth ride as with any car as long as you take good care of it. You could buy a lot of after market parts also make it look how you want.
Overall I like my Cavalier.

Chase, my Chevy (my friend named him!) is awesome. I love driving him, and he's incredibly reliable. A former roommate would borrow him when it snowed too much one winter since his car was not reliable at all!

I have slowly been teaching myself how to fix little things on him. The manual is incredibly easy to follow. My parents had a Cavalier when I was growing up, and I was the one who had to change the clocks when the time changed, and it was so easy to do.

I change my air filters, and I learned how to change the rear tail-lights recently. I'm not sure if I'll try the headlights, though, since I burned them out on my last car from touching them - but if I do decide to try it again, I can already tell it's going to be easy to access the bulbs. A colleague of mine has a truck of a different brand, and when he had to change his lights a few months back, he had to take apart the front of his vehicle!

Thanks to my parents having a Cavalier when I was growing up and getting my license, I think it will have to take something huge for me to NOT keep buying them, or, other Chevrolet vehicles.

My 99 cavalier was the best car I ever had. the parts were cheap, it was great on gas and it was a smooth ride. best car i ever had!

This was the first vehicle I ever owned. Very economical and price conscious vehicle. Great to get around. Also owned a Z24 which was really kool ride

i love it because its very gas efficent and cute and small This is a great car. small , cheap and reliable it is a single mothers dream come true :)...........

The car never left me stranded on the side of the road and it has regular maintenance starts ever time and runs great and gets great fuel mileage.

my experience with this car has been fairly good, with some minor hickups. i have had to replace the battery, alternator and starter on multiple occasions. over i have not had to put much money into it but it adds up. good car for a cheap price, with some minor cheap fixes

This is the 2nd Cavalier I have owned. I loved my first one till the day the tree won (black ice) I then moved to a Grand Am, which was the worst car I have ever owned, I had nothing but issues with that car. I have now owned this Cavalier for 3 years, and have only had to get the rear struts done other than the reg maintenance (Oil changes). Another reason I love cavaliers is because they do have some pep to them, and they run forever, my 1st cav had over 260,000km and was still going strong up to it's untimely demise. My current cavalier is only at 160,000km and I am looking forward to the next 100,000.

this car comes with a custom stereo and custom fiber glass work, big time head turner. car needs a fair bit to safety but if ur into stereos its well worth it

Loved it! Fits carseats nicely and love having a 6 seater car. Lots of space for storage. Very reliable, starts even in the cold without being plugged in. Never had any issues.

This car may be the best small car out there...been driving it for approx 8 years..1 wheel bearing ( taught my daughter to drive lol) 2 sets of brakes, and 1 water pump with 243k on it, awsome on gas. rides nice for a small car. I have taken it on road trips many times and never an issue....I am sorry gm stop making them them to be honest...Btw its my 3rd cavalier and would buy another if i could.

Good reliability, Never any trouble. only 2.2 litre 4 cycle Automatic 4 speed, so good on gas. These cars never die and great for a starter or a beater

my cavalier did its job, taking my kids and dogs every where with me, it is reliable and was pretty cheap whenever anything went wrong, my dad has one too and he loves it, easy to drive and maintain.
