great car for the winter with the all wheeel drive package AUDI made one og the best car in history i will for ever drive a adui i dont see any other german vehcile like BENZ or BMW

Decided to go used instead of new. but for being as old as it is. The A6 really was a state of the art machine back in 2007.

Plus the big gas tank is awsome on long trips!

it is amazing I have no complaints unless it is caused by mu own damages. the seats are comfortable, while driving on the road the car drives smoothly there are no problems

Audi a6 was my first car i really loved it was fantastic for a new driver like me. I would recommend audi a6 if you love comfy rides.

It's stylish and comfortable and very spacious. I toook it on a long drive and it performed well. Had a fairly good fuel economy as I only had to refill the gas twice for a long 10 hours drive to the destination and another 15 coming back.

This Audi is a luxury reliable car. It Willi never disappoint the owner. Agile and sporty performance with all the top notch safety features. Comfy seating in front and back. Very stable in high speed and brings confidence in curves. I love driving it in long cruses and use the radar cruse control. Driver assist with blind spot monitoring and front collision alert and auto break.

The feeling you get when driving a car engineered as well as the A6 is hard to describe in few words. The car can perform in sport mode & then be a comfortable luxury sedan when you just feel like a relaxing, comfortable ride.

I purchased an older model in superb shape, the key here is to make sure the proper maintenance has been done. Even better afterwards is to find an experienced trustworthy mechanic to avoid the dealer bandits.

Tires are expensive, but don't compromise on a superb vehicle like this. Good winters to go with the Quatro make this car outstanding in winter weather & Uhp summers for rainy days & great road feel.

This is truly one great automobile with power, understated great looks, comfort & a feel good factor you forgot a car could give you.

I have been driving this 2.8L car for nearly 4 years now. Annual servicing (oil change) cost slightly over $100 only which is a third of the service cost of a smaller Benz. Besides the normal wear and tear, there is no other problem. The car is over 200K now but looks and feels like it is only 3 or 4 years old. It comes with all the bells and whistles including a garage door opener. Would strongly recommend an Audi, especially this model which I have tried and tested - really love it!

Recently bought a 2001 Audi A6 2.8 Quattro W/ 5 speed automatic, silver with black leather, bought it used for $3500 with 303,000 kilometres!

It's my first luxury car, it rides very nice, handles exceptionally well for a car like this, the engine has 200 horsepower which is okay, though it's no rocket mine averages around 10 seconds to 100 km/h. But it's great for highway merging and passing slower cars. Transmission doesn't shift that smooth though!

Pros; comfy seats, smell of the leather, look of the key, power options, sunroof, all wheel drive, sound system, fit and finish, ride, handling, rear heated seats, trunk space, very quiet, love the side airbag protection. Horn is nice and loud.

Cons; I don't like the power Lombar. I absolutely HATE the dual automatic climate control. Incredibly frustrating. Transmission is not smooth when stopping. If you sit in the car for more than a few minutes without starting it, it will lock and the alarm will go off. Mine has a thing where if you set a speed and go over it, it'll beep at you, dumb. No cooled seats. No memory seat on mine. Fuel economy and premium fuel.


Overall good car, mine only needs O2 sensor ($140.00). If you are new to luxury cars and want to start out, get a Audi A6 older one. Get the 2.8 it's most reliable.

A 1999 Audi A6 is an excellent car to own. It rides awesome on the road, has plenty power for passing, sounds amazing and is extremely comfortable. The fuel economy could be better, but is very good if you don't drive like a lunatic.

I purchased this car a few years back and fell in love with it right away. Its a perfect balance between luxury, performance and comfort.

For those that love bigger cars but want it to stand out with its unique and prestigious look, this is the car for you. It will turn heads and people will love the interior. Very smooth drive and all together I would rate this car 4/5

Fantastic car as a daily driver. Excellent in all weather conditions, an all around capable vehicle. The engine is very smooth, and provides very good acceleration especially for highway passing. I owned one for 10 years and would highly recommend it as a practical car for Canadian roads.

Amazing car! Great comfort and acceleration overall very fast! Enjoy driving German cars as there are many, overall personally I like Audi. I like the fact that the Quattro is all wheel and it's amazing in the winter! The car has no problems and accelerates very quickly to the point where you won't notice how fats you are driving on the hwy. Not to mention this car has a Sport option where that just makes the car fly like a rocket. Very pleased with the Audi car and the reliability it has provided me with over the years. Had no problems apart from the minor maintenance compared to the 2008 chevy that I also have. Next car will definitely be German and most likely Audi! Best decision a buyer can make.

I've owned this car for almost 3 years, and I can safely say this is the best best best car I've owned. BMW's, Mercedes, Porsche and Honda / Acura - My Audi A6 has been stellar in every way. Its design is evolutionary vs. revolutionary and thus a classic design. I purchased an A7 for the reasons the A6 outperformed my expectations.

Excellent car, smooth, reliable, quiet, fantastic in snow (ignores any snow), gets many compliments for design.

other than the highway milage, this car is awesome in every way possible. You will enjoy the styling, performance and its full of many extra options.

Power, comfort, luxury. It is fun to drive, turns heads, and has all the conveniences of a luxury car that you should not have to live without. Audi does it right with details like heated/auto dimming mirrors that automatically adjust down when backing up or will fold in at the push of a button. Automatic climate control that never needs to be touched. A keyless entry and start system that seems almost human. This car has it all and it looks, feels, and smells like new. It has been maintained exceptionally well. Everyone that drives in it comments on how new it feels.

I bought this car knowing it was going to take some work to make me happy with it. Everything that needed to be done, has been done. This car will not leave you stranded due to mechanical failure. This car now has a lot of worry free driving in it.

I've had this car for 5 years. Apart from regular maintenance I had no major issues with it. The ABS module went and now I am having some engine tuning issues. The rust is the only thing that bothers me. I had front quarters and doors repainted once and they are at it again.

Overall, it is an amazing vehicle. I get 600-650 km on full tank. Lots of power, classic timeless look and luxury and comfort. It is excellent in snow and rain and handles beautifully. Even with higher cost of fuel and repairs I am extremely happy with it and would recommend it.

Cars are not our thing. Our A6 is the exception. We have a cabin in a very remote part of BC in the moutains. To get into it we drive down a dirt lane for 3/4 of a mile that has ups and downs only a goat could handle. In the winter when we have 14"of snow and we cannot get the lane plowed our A6 has fun because it gets a Snow Day. Our " Oddity" (AKA- Audi) while having a few years in age is as tight and quiet as the day we got it. Close the door and it is just a solid clunk. Our car comes with more creature comforts than you can list but it feels like a friend that would not let any harm come to our family. There is a great deal to be said about quality and german engineering.

A really nice design, extremely reliable and great in the winter. We loved it so much we have just moved from a 2005 A6 to a 2010 of the same model.
