Jeep Wrangler 2008Change

I drove this everywhere, and I mean everywhere. It is a nice sturdy hunk of metal. Feels Like driving a tank almost compared to the small cars I had previously drove. Good power, 4x4, stereo, and very comfortable. Highly recommended if you are in the market for a new suv type vehicle.

Reliable in the winter and so fun in the summer, great buy. Great sound system. Love the easy to remove front top.

Bought this jeep new and what a great vehicle to own. Awesome ride in the summer with the top down and you can't beet a jeep in the winter months...just amazing! Always been very reliable.

I have driven this Jeep from BC to PEI pulling a 4000lb trailer with ease.
I have never been stuck in the snow and I have taken this jeep off road once and it worked extremely well.

Wranglers are amazing in the winter with the snow and even better in the summer with the roof off.
Best bang for your buck in an all around master of the road.

It's a Chrysler product so it has its issues, but the vehicle more than makes up for it. Happy to pay more in gas and have a few repair bills to get to drive this awesome vehicle around town.

First ever Jeep, wished I would of bought one earlier. Absolutely love it and have no complaints what so ever.

So a Jeep is a Jeep right. You either love them or hate them. Ours is of course the old lethargic engine that eats up gas. The interior is well... crap. The headlights are unbelievably poor as i believe they are the same in the current model. Whats up with that? There are after market sealed beams available that are much better.
Now we realize what it is and it suits our needs. It is a dog hauler, run about town vehicle and we live in a rural area.The kids can make mess and do. No big deal. It is bullet proof and fantastic in the snow. We do put winters on it.
We like it to the point that we are looking at the 12/13 with the upgraded engine and interior.

After owning my 2008 Wrangler JK, I wont own anything but a Jeep again. This is such a fun vechicle, the soft top can be dropped in just a few minutes by myself and the doors are so simple to remove. Running down the road topless and door less is the only way to ride! The one down fall is you can't pass to may gas stations without stopping in (Jeeps gotta drinking problem).

The feeling you have when you are behind the wheel of this Truck is something you have to feel for yourself. The comfort in the cockpit is great with everything you need at a touch of a button! The response on this truck with steering and handling is my favorite of any vehicle. No lag behind the wheel. This truck makes you feel safe and secure in harsh Ontario winters with the "on the fly" 4x4...(no stopping to change from 2x4 to 4x4) This truck is equipped to haul anything you need it to, yet sleek and sexy enough to have a luxury feel to it. Gone are the days that Jeeps were just for boys!!!

If fuel economy is your focus in looking for an SUV/Jeep, stay away. If you're looking for a comfortable ride and off road capability, Jeep owns that market with the Wrangler. Very spacious, very smooth, incredibly good off road. The Rubicon trim model just adds that much more to its toughness with rock rails, larger axles, front and rear electric lockers, electronic disconnecting sway bar. What more can you ask for?

I have loved every wrangler model, they are all fantastic but being a jeep they were all gas guzzlers. The wrangler was a great car for me because it makes you want to try something new. The 08 Wrangler lacks a good interior as the interior is plastic and looks a little bit cheap. The seats are also not exactly top notch however with it being in a very affordable price range I was not expecting too much for this car. Overall this is a great vehicle and can be a good buy.

i have owned this vehicle for 4 years and it is the best i have ever owned in my life. This thing goes everywhere and wont stop or get stuck.

I have had this car for 2 years and love it. I especially like the Freedom roof and all the options it gives for all or part off, and not too heavy when I do take it off.
The soft top is horrible. My last Jeep Wrangler the soft top was easy to get up and down, this one almost impossible by myself and probably will never use again for that reason.

I love the 4 door (family) rubicon, We take it ever where, the kids love it and so does the hubby. 4x4ing and using the swaybar disconnect and the axel lock, are great for getting into places you were never able to get in to before.

Great for local and off road. Handles very well in tough driving conditions. For long distance driving, hey it's a jeep. There is road noise to consider. Lots of tow power and maneuverability though.

Also there is lots of goodies in and on this vehicle. Jeeps are a completely different experience than cars so if you are considering one and never owned one, do your homework first and test drive.

If you like the wind in your hair, jeeps are the thing.

This is an excellent vehicle. It rides rough but that isn't why you buy it. this is a great vehicle to get around with and not bad on gas either. If you live north of the equator it is very handy when the white stuff falls from the sky, this thing will go through almost anything. I do find that on a really windy day you get pushed around quite a bit, but other than that it is more fun than anything I have ever driven.

Loved it.. had the jeep for few years.. so far no complaints, almost put 200K with just normal maintenance...

never let me down, Summer, winter, on or off road..

We've owned a lot of vehicles in the past 15 years. From a BMW 330ci, to a Ford F-150, Cavalier, Mustang, Celica, Jeep Patriot and on and on. We've never enjoyed a vehicle as much as this Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Our two year old absolutely loves it as well, especially in the summer time with the top off.

It's not the most comfortable vehicle, it's loud and bumpy and it doesn't have a luxury styling to it at all inside or out but that's not what the Jeep Wrangler is about.

We have a blast riding around in a 4dr 'SUV' with lots of cargo space without a top on. You don't mind getting the odd scratch and so on with this vehicle. It's a lot of fun off road as well, you can go places that not many vehicles will take you.

My only complaint is gas milage but it's a great trade off for what you get in return. Although, you pay no more at the pump and fill up just as often as you would with say a Lexus SUV when you're take having to fill up with premium into consideration with the Lexus.

Great vehicle, I'm looking forward to buying a new Wrangler in the future.

The Jeep is a vehicle with a very particular style. Over the years, the Jeep has kept many of it's classic features all while adding a little modern flare, a better suspension, more comfort and other little things. A Jeep is still a Jeep. You are not buying this vehicle for comfort! The ride is rough and the short wheel base makes for easy bouncing around on the roads. Because of it's square shape, it plows into the wind making gas mileage a constant battle for such a small vehicle. Although great for trails and some heavy duty work, the overall performance is nothing to brag about. The interior is nicely finished, but the quality is poor on the inside and the outside. Having had one until recently myself, and having maintained it immaculately and storing it winters, I still had signs of rust on some of the interior components and had to get the exterior door hinges refinished once... All while under 30 000 km. Although I loved the look and the option to take off the top, I do not regret my decision of selling it. It was a great toy, but difficult to keep looking it's best.

The Jeep Wrangler is a vehicle for all seasons, during the warm weather days, you have the option of dropping the top and for a real treat, taking the doors off. what a feeling!
During the off-seasons, the four wheel drive will help get you out of almost any situation.
I have had this Jeep off road, on road, highway and I have no regrets on this purchase. No major issues, only regular maintenance for the past four years.
