We have never had any problems with this rig, great in winter, an all around decent SUV!! Great on gas, easy to handle, lots of storage space, great stereo system....just an all around great SUV!!

Great little SUV! Great on gas, rooming, and 4x4 capability.
Never get stuck in the winter! Very clean and reliable!

Since I purchased the car I had only excellent experiences. Riding with all windows open, amazing sound system, sunroof completing to explore beautiful sceneries. The 4x4 allows me to go anywhere without concern of getting stuck, great in snow, rain and dirt if needed. Enjoy this thrilling ride.

It is a very good way to start a new life. It helps save on gas, very reliable for new drivers and lady drivers. It is good to drive even on snow and rough roads. It is a four wheel drive. I feel safe everyday!

I have had my Jeep since new, before the vehicle was 3 yrs old I had to fix ball joist, control arm, shocks, 3 new tires because of punctures. Now after another three years I have suspension issues and rusting. Would not buy again.

Wish they put in a different engine. You cannot feel any of the 170 horses in this jeep, and it drinks back the fuel in 4x4 mode.

It's a stunning vehicle inside-out, very comfortable, everything in this car is smart. smooth to drive, I have experience neither mechanical nor physical problems whatsoever. I wouldn't sale this car and I would have kept for much longer, however, the only reason I have to sale this car is because of a two-year professional training in Asia.

I have had nothing but problems with the sway bar, suspension and other disturbing issues. Spent almost $4000 in repairs in the last 2 years

The 2007 Compass gets a passing grade, it's been a commuter vehicle and so far there have been no issues with it.

very poor fuel mileage even on highway very noisey rough ride would not have bought take for a very long ride if you are concidering

I love driving my compass but there is too much blinds spots with this vehicle. if they could change that and give it better gas mileage it would be great

Its a really good car. Its reliable, great on gas, comfortable for a family and long driving, looks great

I bought a Jeep Compass Sport 4x4 new in 2007 for my wife! The car has been good to us except for premature suspension, bearings and brake replacement. I have owned several types of 4x4s’- six different ones and I have been stuck with all except for this one. I run it with good studded snow tires and it will plow through feet of snow and slush [with the ESP turned off it also has full off road mode (had to read the manually to find out that)], my driveway sometimes goes for several snowfalls without being plowed and it will fill up with feet of snow and slush sometimes and I have yet to get stuck with the Jeep with its 2.4L motor and 5 speed manual transmission! It is also good on ice and dirt back roads; it sticks to the road like it was on rails. The compass also gets good gas millage, Dodge sticker said 39 MPG but more like 30 to 33MPG’s and like all other cars if you are pushing on the gas it will drink it up fast. The Jeep compass with the manual transmission will really get up and go it’s a sleeper (lol) it has surprised a lot of other vehicular on the highway, 3rd gear has an endless power band. Over all it has been a good little buggy and has kept my wife safe and on the road!!

I lived up North for a while and got this car for the AWD and reliability. It did not disappoint, its a great drive and has never let me down. Its a huge comfort to have the AWD at a button when the rain starts to come down or the ice starts to build up.
Bonus is the space, with the rear seats down this 5 seater provides tonnes of space.
