2012 Volvo C30

NEW FOR 2012:

For 2012, the Volvo C30 adds numerous new features, including new stereo and connectivity features, improved interior features and, on the R-Design trim, new wheels and a sport chassis. LED daytime running lights are standard on all but the base model. There are also new trim line designations.

The C30 uses a turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine that is mated to a six-speed manual transmission or optional five-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. Trim lines are the T5, T5 Premier Plus, T5 Platinum, T5 R-Design, T5 R-Design Premier Plus, and T5 R-Design Platinum.

Features on the T5 include 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, front and rear fog lights, black egg-crate grille, variable intermittent wipers, performance CD stereo with USB port, Bluetooth connectivity with streaming audio, keyless entry, T-Tec cloth seats, manual seat adjustment, bauxite interior inlays, exterior temperature gauge, locking glovebox, auto-dimming rearview mirror, security alarm, cruise control, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls and floor mats.

The Premier Plus adds LED daytime running lights, power seats, driver’s side memory, aluminum inlays, and power sunroof.

The T5 Platinum adds premium stereo with Dolby II Logic surround sound, Sirius satellite radio and navigation system.

The R-Design builds on the T5 and adds 18-inch alloy wheels, sport chassis, black egg-crate grille with matte silver surround, matte silver mirror housings, colour-coordinated fender flares, side skirts and front and rear spoilers, larger exhaust tips, R-Design instrument cluster, sport pedals, sport steering wheel and Flex-Tec and leather upholstery.

The R-Design Premier Plus adds LED daytime running lights, cargo cover and power sunroof.

The R-Design Platinum adds premium stereo with Dolby II Logic surround sound, and navigation system.
