NEW FOR 2014:
-No changes
Mazda's petite roadster moves into 2014 unchanged. Power comes from a 2.0L four-cylinder engine good for 167 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque, which can be matched with five- or six-speed manual, or six-speed automatic transmissions.
Entry-level GX trim gets the five-speed stick, 16-inch wheels, black cloth folding top, halogen headlights, fog lights, body-coloured side mirrors, rear window defroster, intermittent wipers, four-speaker stereo with auxiliary input, mesh wind blocker, cruise control, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, tilt steering, power door locks, keyless entry, power windows, floor mats, cloth seats, leather-trimmed steering wheel and shifter, and full instrumentation.
GS models add the six-speed manual transmission, steering wheel-mounted shift paddles when optioned with the automatic. As well, there are 17-inch gunmetal wheels, power-folding hard roof, gloss black door mirrors, air conditioning with automatic climate control, black upholstery with red stitching, height-adjustable driver's seat, outside temperature gauge, and trip computer.
Finally, the GT gets 17-inch silver aluminum wheels, HID headlights, chrome-finished outside door handles, seven-speaker stereo with satellite radio and Bluetooth, auto-dimming rearview mirror, intelligent keyless entry, and heated leather seats.
