History/Overview
Since 2016, the CX-3 has served as Mazda's subcompact crossover model. Mazda added a manual transmission option in 2018, and in 2019 gave the CX-3 a mid-cycle refresh. For 2020, the Mazda CX-3 is unchanged.
Available Trims
Mazda offers the CX-3 in GX, GS, and GT trims. GX offers the most drivetrain variety, starting out with a six-speed manual transmission (6MT) and front-wheel drive. Optioning that configuration with a six-speed automatic (6AT) opens the door to adding AWD.
GS comes with the 6AT and front-drive, with the option of AWD. GT is standard with AWD.
