History/Overview

What’s New/Key Changes From Last Year

For 2022, the Lexus LS 500h hybrid gets a new remote air conditioning system.

Available Trims

Lexus offers its largest sedan as the LS 500, powered by a twin-turbo 3.5L V6 engine, a 10-speed transmission, and AWD; and the LS 500h, a hybrid that pairs electric power with a 3.5L V6 and a continuously variable transmission.

Standard Features

The LS comes with an adaptive variable suspension, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, 23-speaker audio, heated front and rear seats, ventilated front seats with 28-way driver and 20-way passenger adjustments, semi-aniline leather upholstery, and driver massage. You also get dual-zone A/C, a head-up display, heated steering wheel with electric adjustments, LED adaptive/auto-levelling headlights, and 19-inch wheels.

In all LS models, you get a safety suite comprising blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, park assist, a panoramic view monitor, automatic high beams, radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, and forward collision mitigation.

LS 500h models add air suspension, enhanced collision avoidance, front cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, lane change assist, rear-seat entertainment, a 28-way front passenger seat with massage, 22-way massaging rear-seats with ottoman, four-zone A/C, a digital rearview mirror, and 20-inch wheels.

An LS 500 F Sport 1 pack adds 20-inch wheels, upgrade front passenger seat, panoramic view monitor, panoramic roof, air suspension, digital rearview mirror, and upgraded collision avoidance features.

A luxury package also gets rear-seat lumbar and sunshades, massaging/heated/ventilated rear seats, and four-zone A/C.

The executive package gets even better rear seats, rear sunshades in all windows, and a smart card key.
