The Lexus LS is this Japanese brand's reach for the pinnacle of the luxury car segment. It's a spacious, swift machine that swaddles its occupants in all kinds of posh trappings, bestowing as much comfort on rear-seat occupants as those in front. While plug-in hybrid models have popped up elsewhere in the class, Lexus was first with a regular hybrid powertrain. Despite a six-figure price, the LS is a strong value in this segment.
