2013 Ford Taurus

CHANGES FOR 2013:

- New 2.0L EcoBoost and 3.5L V6 engines.

The Taurus, going into 2013, gets an extensive mid-cycle refresh, including new sheetmetal, updated interior, revised engines, and numerous other standard features.

Available in SE, SEL, Limited, and SHO trims, the Taurus is offered with three different engines: 2.0L EcoBoost four-cylinder (231 hp on regular fuel, 240 hp on premium fuel, 270 lb-ft), 3.5L Ti-VCT V6 (288 hp, 254 lb-ft), or 3.5L EcoBoost V6 (365 hp, 350 lb-ft) unique to the Taurus SHO.

In SE trim, features include 3.5L Ti-VCT V6, six-speed SelectShift transmission, 17-inch aluminum wheels, air conditioning, AF/FM/CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input, MyFord, floor mats, power locks, power windows with one-touch up/down driver controls, MyKey, remote keyless entry, power remote truck release, fold-down rear-seat armrest, six-way power driver and front passenger seats, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, cloth seating, body-colour door handles, quasi-dual exhaust, Easy Fuel capless fuel filler, folding power mirrors with integrated blind spot mirrors, SecuriCode keyless entry, LED taillights, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, Torque Vectoring and Curve Control, front-wheel drive, child-safety rear door locks, airbags (front, front seat, side curtain), LATCH, TPMS, and SOS post crash alert.

SEL trim adds dual-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming interior mirror, outside temperature display, leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel with tilt/telescopic adjustment and audio controls, remote start system, message system with trip computer and compass, satellite radio, Ford SYNC, heated front seats, body colour side mirrors, supplemental parking lamps, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and perimeter anti-theft alarm.

Limited trim adds branded front floor mats, driver's seat memory, power adjustable pedals, global open window and sunroof feature, wood and leather-trimmed steering wheel, storage cargo net, universal garage door opener, Sony audio, SYNC with MyFord Touch, 10-way power driver and front passenger seats, heated/cooled front seats, perforated leather seats, side mirrors with security approach lamps, reverse sensing system, front door sill plates, unique front grille, all-wheel drive, 19-inch wheels, and rear view camera.

SHO adds 3.5L EcoBoost engine, aluminum SHO brake and accelerator pedals, unique SHO interior appearance, power rear window sunshade, paddle shifters, heated second row seats, leather-trimmed bucket seats with Gray Miko Suede inserts, EcoBoost and SHO badging, true dual exhaust, power moonroof, rear spoiler, rain sensing wipers, engine block heater, SHO-unique floor shifter, and 20-inch aluminum wheels with black painted pockets.
