History/Overview
Positioned atop the Audi Q7 lineup, the SQ7 is a performance-oriented take on the brand’s three-row crossover formula. It arrived in Canada as a 2020 model.
What’s New/Key Changes From Last Year
For 2022, the SQ7 adds more standard safety features: active cruise assist; active lane departure warning; intersection, traffic jam, and turn assists; and rear side airbags all join the spec sheet after being offered as extra-cost options on last year’s model.
Available Trims
Audi makes the SQ7 in a single trim, powered by a 4.0L turbo V8 engine with an eight-speed transmission and AWD.
Standard Features
Every SQ7 comes fitted with 21-inch wheels, adaptive air suspension, four-wheel steering, engine stop/start, auto on/off LED laser headlights with washers, auto-dimming/power-folding side mirrors, a power tailgate, and passive keyless entry.
Inside, occupants benefit from a panoramic sunroof, heated front/rear seats/steering wheel, ventilated front seats, four-zone A/C, diamond-stitched leather upholstery, an auto-dimming mirror, ambient lighting, rear-door sunshades, and a power-adjustable steering column. Infotainment is controlled by a 10.1-inch touchscreen that contains wireless Apple CarPlay, a B&O stereo, satellite radio, and navigation; other tech treats are a head-up display and wireless phone charging.
Safety features include adaptive rain-sensing wipers, front and rear collision detection/mitigation, active cruise assist, active lane departure warning, intersection/traffic jam/turn assists, 360-degree camera views, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear side airbags.
