NEW FOR 2015:
-No changes
Audi's mid-size sedan migrates to 2015 with only minor trim updates. In Canada, all A6 models use Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive system (US buyers can choose a front-drive model); the base engine is a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder (2.0T; 220 hp/258 lb-ft of torque); a 3.0L supercharged V6 (3.0T; 310 hp/325 lb-ft) is the first step up; the next one is a 3.0L turbodiesel (TDI; 240 hp/428 lb-ft); and finally, the S6 uses a turbocharged 4.0L V8 (420 hp/406 lb-ft). An eight-speed automatic is standard in all models, save the S6, which gets a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual.
Trim levels are Progressiv and Technik in all three A6 models, while the S6 comes in a single trim.
Standard kit in 2.0T Progressiv trim includes 18-inch wheels, LED daytime running lights, Xenon headlights, headlight washers, LED taillights, sunroof, power-open trunk with movement-activation, auto-dimming and heated side mirrors with LED turn signal repeaters, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather seats, eight-way power front seats with driver memory and four-way driver power lumbar, heated front and rear seats, load-through provision, auto-dimming rearview mirror, navigation, eight-inch colour display screen, 10-speaker stereo, satellite radio, Bluetooth, four-spoke multifunction steering wheel, electric steering wheel adjustment, Audi MMI with handwriting recognition, Audi music interface, automatic wipers and headlights, intelligent keyless entry, cruise control, Audi pre-sense basic and Audi drive select.
2.0T Technik models add 19-inch wheels, adaptive headlights, four-zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, 14-speaker stereo, garage door opener, front and rear park assist, top-view camera, wood inlays, electric-folding side mirrors, four-way front passenger power lumbar, Audi pre-sense rear and Audi side assist.
3.0T Progressiv models take on the 2.0T Technik's front and rear park assist, wood inlays and garage door opener, but revert to 18-inch wheels.
3.0T Technik kit echoes that of the 2.0T model.
A6 TDI standard features are similar to those of the 3.0T Progressiv; TDI Technik follows the 3.0T Technik's playbook, but adds a power rear sunshade and manual rear side window shades.
The S6 builds on the A6 Technik trim, and also gets 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, Valcona leather sport seats, and a heated steering wheel.
