Cadillac Unveils $325,000 Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series
On the eve of its racing team’s first U.S. Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, this weekend, Cadillac is celebrating its century-and-a-quarter in business with a new special edition of its biggest model. The brand today unveiled the 2027 Cadillac Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series.
Just 252 of these special-edition models will be made, and are are being sold in the U.S. and Canada. Buyers are offered either Midnight Stone Frost or Vibrant White Tricoat paint. The colours were selected to highlights the Escalade-V’s imposing presence on the road. Every unit will get a unique numbered label that ranges from 1902 to 2027 — 125 labels per colour commemorating the brand’s 125 years on the road — and buyers will be able to select their VIN and serial number.
In addition to the special colours, the Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector’s Series also gets special forged 24-inch wheels, blue brake calipers, dark finish badges, heritage V8 puddle lamps, and carbon fibre grille surrounds, lower rear bumpers, mirror caps, and engine covers.
The blue brake calipers were inspired by Santorini Blue, a paint colour that has played a special role in the history V-Series subbrand. The hue was initially inspired by the blue in the V-Series emblem’s Mondrian pattern and formed a link between the V-Series.R race car, and the V-Series road cars of the time.
The colour has since featured on a number of production and concept vehicles, and is also found in the seat belts, the key, and the contrast stitching inside the Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector’s Series.
The colour plays against a Black and Sheer Gray two-tone interior, unique illuminated sill plates, and special floor mats. As ever, the Cadillac Escalade-V is powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 that makes 682 hp and 653 lb-ft of torque that allows it to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.
Order books for the 2027 Cadillac Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Edition Collector Series open in December. Pricing will start at around $325,000.
