1980 Renault Le Car

by Harwood on 03-11-2013
Ugly but distinctive and reliable.
I have very fond memories of this car - solid and reliable transportation during my high school days.

It was inexpensive (bought used) and parts were readily available for DIY repairs.

My model had a "moon roof" - a canvas sunroof that, when retracted, exposed both the front and back seats. Not quite a convertible, but almost. :)

2006 Honda Civic

I love my Civic
I've never had a lick of trouble in the 7 years I've owned my civic. It's reliable, good on gas and comfortable.

If I need to carry any cargo, I can put the back seat down and have a lot of room for groceries, boxes, or whatever. It's great when I go camping!

1991 Chevrolet Sprint

by Harwood on 01-23-2013
Great economical basic transportation
My Chevy sprint was the turbo model, which was definitely more fun than the standard.

These cars were and still are everywhere. Parts are plentiful and mechanics are very familiar with them.

The car was practical - being a hatchback with folding back seats... But still allowed for 4 person occupancy.

2006 Honda Accord

by Harwood on 01-22-2013
Comfortable and quiet ride - that's dependable.
I bought this car new and it still looks, sounds and runs like new.

I've had wonderful experiences with the dealership service and the quality of the car is the best I've ever had.

I'd buy another in a second, but I don't expect to have to replace it for many years to come.

1998 Suzuki Sidekick

by Harwood on 01-21-2013
Solid and economical transportation
Great little car - 4x4 for the winter and convertible for the summer.

This car got me through a lot of rough weather and ran like a champ.

Service parts are common as there a thousands of this vehicle on the road (as the sidekick and chevy tracker) and every mechanic is familiar with them.

1991 Suzuki Cappuccino

by Harwood on 01-21-2013
Fun and economical
I've been driving this car for just over two years now. It is fun, handles like a dream and is very conservative with gas while still being quite peppy (due to its turbo).

While it is a Japanese Domestic Model, some service parts are available in North America - the car shares some parts with other Suzuki vehicles and the engine is nearly identical to a Suzuki engine used in some Arctic Cat snowmobiles (660cc turbo models).
