Suzuki SX4 1999-2013Change

I drove this car for a year now and haven't any issue with comfort or fuel economy. I was agreeably surprise with the interior desing of this small car the space is more than I was expected for a car of this size. I also like the line of it an it was so easy to parking every were we need. The mechanic was A1 I have no problem to recommend this vehicle.

Still looks nice, good lines, no rust. I lucked out when I bought this car 7 years ago. Too bad they’re not selling new ones here any longer.

I have had this vehicle for about five years (bought used) and it has been working quite well. There have been no major issues and it still looks very new. It also has good handling. (Turning and speeding up)

This car has an amazing anti-lock breaking system. It's alsoi packed with safety features that don't usually come in a base model. Fuel economy is great. It's not a Challenger, or a mustang, but it's a cute car and it is reliable.

I bought this car brand new from the lot and it has served me well . It continues to perform well and drives like a new car. I have kept a regular maintenance schedule changing the oil every 5000 km or 3 months. It is a smooth ride and gets gas mileage. This is my 3rd Suzuki, my last one being the Swift which I ran up to 400,000 km. before I gave it away. The manual transmission in my opinion is much better than the automatic. If driven both, and prefer the manual hands down. I can't say enough about this car.

This has been a great car from day one. Not one problem since I bought her. It's a great ride, though depending on the tires you are using.
The clutch is nice and smooth, light, very forgiving. Great commuter car. Very peppy 6 speed manual.

Navigation system is excellent, never got me lost. Paired with the hands-free capability comes in handy. Able to pair with any phone via bluetooth. Climate Control works wonders. Heated seats keep you toasty during the winter months.

Cheap and easy to maintain, cheap on fuel, looks sharp.

the Suzuki SX4 has every thing you can think of. In winter it is magic as it is AWD nothing can stop it; it is a great car

This car has been a great car. As a senior, I have appreciated the excellent range of vision and the pep of this vehicle. Excellent fuel economy. Dealer maintained for its lifetime. Regularly maintained.

2007 Suzuki SX4, White, 71,000 kms. It has Front Wheel/All Wheel Drive as well as 4x4 up to 60km/hr which is great for Alberta weather and drives extremely well.

Handles and corners like a high performance vehicle. It's tight on the road. Runs like clock, excellent fuel mileage. Very dependable.

I bought this car for fuel economy however; it had to handle well and be fun to drive. With the manual transmission and a powerful engine it exceeded my expectations. I drove it to Montreal a number of times, in rain and wind plus a snow storm. It holds the road really well. The no key entry and no key start makes older keyless entry systems a pain to deal with. I only commuted a short time and have two vehicles; unfortunately the SX4 won't pull the trailer.

This is the best car i ever had. Love my car so very much. Just a little problems but not to many.. Its a bit expensive but I would say Japanese cars are the best. I would recommend this kind of car to all my friends.

This car is in excellent condition and never had any complaints. Done all the services on time at the dealership . Like brand new. Very good fuel economy. Very comfortable due to seating style and position. Very good for long journey. Done 90% KM on highways.

Fun to drive, but not the type of car everyone will like. Must get the AWD hatchback version for this car, it is a lot more fun to drive than the sedan version. It is almost like the miniature version of SUV.

Rented this car during a vacation a couple years back and spent two weeks driving it around the mountains. It got the job done and was fairly decent on gas as well. While engine wasn't overly powerful, it's sufficient for a small car.

I have never had any problems, aside from starting engine in cold weather occasionally. I do find it uses more fuel than others in its class, but overall not bad. Could use more trunk space and a larger fuel tank, but the back seats fold down nice and flat and the seats are very comfortable.

I've only had one repair issue since I've owned the car so it's extremely reliable. It feels spacious and comfortable! It's also very fuel efficient and provides superior handling.

I bought my SX4 at the end of '06 and it has been very reliable and has never let me down. The awd system is very capable in snow and light offroad (any doubts search Youtube "sx4 offroad"). I have never got stuck in snow with this car. The roof racks are great for carrying bike, kayaks, snowboards...etc.The fuel consumption is good but it only has a 45L fuel tank. I even use mine to pull small boats and utility trailers and it handles it with ease.

I have owned this vehicle since October 2009 and find it to be a very reliable small car. I am a senior female and I am impressed with the gas mileage I get on both highway and city. This car has caused me no problems and I am faithful to have oil changes done as per the car guide. Winter driving is no problem even without snow tires. Suzuki is no a popular vehicle in my city , but I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in purchasing a small, relaible car.

I LOVE the option to change between Front-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive, the fuel economy is great, being able to fold down the 60/40 split rear seats gives even more cargo space, and the roof rails allow me to put things on the roof. Overall, this is a must buy for someone who wants an All-Wheel Drive car. One of the best decisions in my life.

Most people look at me with a surprised look if I tell them I drive a Suzuki, not too surprising for me as their sales / marketing in Canada is weak.
What people don't realize is that sx4 is a real hidden Gem, it is a very competent small car and add the iAWD system and it is great for Canadian winters. With the awd "lock" mode (50-50 power to front and back wheels) and good all seasons this car can go anywhere in Snow / Ice. You can in fact do some decent off roading as long as there are no rocks or other objects hitting the under body.
I have had my SX4 for over 2 yrs now and she has been reliable thus far. There is a solid feel to this car and handling and ride quality are excellent.
CVT makes it feel a bit sluggish at times but if you get used to it and if you are not crazy about performance, well if you want performance you would not buy this car in the first place !
Fuel economy is on the higher side for a small car and fuel tank is only 45 litres.
Interior design is pretty good with decent space that can be expected from a small car. Ground clearance is much better than most other small cars and this is perhaps the cheapest small car with AWD that can be locked.
There is also 4 wheel disc brakes, Electronic Brake assist and Electronic Brake Force Distribution, steering mounted controls. Exterior Design is fresh and elegant thanks to Fiat and the sx4's European twin "Fiat Sedicci"
If only Suzuki would market this car more aggressively !

Suzuki is the best car ever. You will always enjoy driving the car. Not to heavy and not to light. Its great on the snow too. I really recommend this car.

We have owned this car since new, and have put 200000 km on it in less than 5 years. I have used synthetic oil since early in it's life, and it still comes out clear enough to see through. It has been absolutely reliable, even in extreme cold without being plugged in. It was the best equipped car we could get for the money at the time, and we would make the same decision again.

The interior is not bad, but is lacking in a few key areas. The rear seat doesn't fold (the option was added in 2010). The driver's seat is not height or tilt adjustable, and doesn't go quite far enough back, which can get uncomfortable on long trips.

Ride, handling and performance are surprisingly good, but not quite as good as a Civic SiR - no surprise. Fuel economy and power could be better from the 2.0L engine, and I wish I had the 6 speed manual transmission Suzuki added in 2010. It is very satisfying to drop a gear and pass someone, and you can chuck it into a corner pretty hard and come out the other side with a smile on your face.

My only major complaint is with the rear suspension, which seems to have deformed over time, causing my back end to constantly push ever so slightly to the right. The axle is $2500+ to replace, and is not adjustable to compensate for this issue.

This car served me well in terms of reliability, fuel economy, and winter driving. The anti-lock breakds worked as they should. For a base model, it had quite a lot that most cars would charge extra for; a lot of airbags, air conditioning, cd player, anti-lock breaks. I loved the red lights in the dashboard, very easy on the eyes. The seats were quite comfortable. It had a button for the gas door. Very nice little car, it looked very nice and drove very nice. I would definitely recommend this make and model.
