great car as a first car it has a lot of nice qualities and the look of the car is eye grabbing, very comfortable and has a stylish interior

I am very happy with my lancer 2.0L

It's pretty good on gas. I fill up approx. every 2 weeks, about $50-60 each time. I get about 600km out of a tank.

The interior is pretty nice. Comfortable seats, even has seat warmers for those cold winters. There is a lot of hard plastic, I don't mind but some people don't like that. There is tons of trunk space, and you can extend the trunk by folding down the back seats. The front and back seats both have lots of leg room.

The exterior looks sporty, especially the front. The stock body kit makes it look lower than it really is, giving the illusion of a lowered car. The hood and the rest of the front looks very beefy/sporty. The back/trunk end, however, does look very basic.

I have been impressed by its performance. It is very quick off the line, and has great acceleration.

I've had this car for a year and haven't had any problems. The most I have had to deal with is low tire pressure and oil changes aka basic maintenance.

Agile, reliable, smart and well built (if you leave your interior or exterior lights on they shut off way before the battery gets close to draining). I have gotten the fuel mileage as low as 5.1 L/100 yet the power is there when you need it due to the CVC engine. I've looked under the car, its built to last compared to say a Nissan Maxima at double the price its built to less half the quality underneath at the suspension and tie rods.
Smooth drive with no maintenance or warranty work ever needed for me. Will miss this great drive in the lancer hugging corners like a race car

First car I bought brand new, it has great fuel economy and has had zero reliability issues and low maintenance.
Interior is not as flashy as the competitions in some ways, but its not terrible by all means, I loved it inside and out. Even people whom I didn't know commented on what a nice car it was since the day that I've bought it, it definitely turns heads.
Performance wise, this car has next to no body roll at all, and is light and agile in the corners, as expected from a Japanese sports sedan. While not quick off the line, it is great for what it is and I found that the performance was pretty good for a 2.0L 4-cylinder.
Keep in mind, this car was not designed to be a family car, but for those who have no children, or perhaps one, this car will do you well. Cheap to go on long distance trips, while being comfortable and able to carry your luggage and golf clubs, this car has lots to offer and an experience I will never forget, well worth the price of admission and would do it again when the time is right for me.

This car has got to be the best I've ever driven. It is incredibly powerful and ease on the road. Taking turns with such ease, this rally car is definitely a blast. Although it is not the most fuel efficient vehicle on the road, it can take you to Banff and back on a full tank. The bucket seats in the car are so comfortable and they just hug you. the only issue is getting out when your parked uphill. Its a sports car that can fit your family and is incredibly fun regardless of what your daily commute is. Overall just an amazing car with pretty much no flaws.

I have had my Lancer since June 2011, I absolutely love it Just wish I knew that in 2012 the were going to make all of them AWD

when i ride this beast it's like on butter .. perfect ! This car is beautiful and i live it so much but it's fuel economy is not very good .. it's cost high for going far

I love this car. No problems at all with it so far. Very fuel efficient and nice ride. Looks so sleek!

I like the aggressive styling, but it's getting quite dated now with the trim not having been changed in years.

It's reliable, it has a great warranty and the service is excellent. Assuming you have a Mitsubishi nearby.

It performs great, and has good power in the lower gears, but isn't as peppy in the higher range.

The inside is - while plentiful with bluetooth, and heated seats appears to have a dashboard and console designed in 1965. Perhaps the same year the trim was last redesigned.

Overall, a solid car. A sporty sedan to satisfy both your manly needs.
