Purchased this car the day I took one for a test drive. It drives as beautifully as it looks.

Looks, power, handling, comfort. The whole darn package! The looks and comments I have received are just overwhelming. I've actually seen my car on car-fancier websites.

Service costs are a bit on the high side, but I have never had any issues with the car in the 7 years that I have been driving it (yes, I got it in the summer of 2013).

The car is comfortable and quick. It is returning about 8L/100km in highway driving, and I expect that will improve over time. The AWD is definitely rear biased, that is a difference from the MB 4matic system, where it was more neutral. The S/C 3.0 engine has plenty of power on tap, and the AWD puts it down really well on wet or dry. With snow, it has a tendency to push the rear wheels out into oversteer more than the C300 - the winter setting and moderation on the throttle are in order. Overall it is very quiet, even with winter rubber on, with little if any S/C whine in evidence.

I found the C300 was easy to get the front splitter onto curbing despite having the parktronic assist - the Jag has both the parking system and the 360 camera system, plus a splitter that isn't as close to the road. I do find that it is a large car, but doesn't drive that way.

On the highway, it is very stable with strong crosswinds. One does have to be careful when merging on highways, as it is really easy to overshoot the speed you want to achieve - the acceleration when rolling is spectacular but refined... you don't always realize how quickly it is adding speed as it does so without drama or undue noise.

I have the heated/cooled seats - have only used the heaters and they are very effective. The heated windscreen is brilliant, except for the small area that isn't heated, and ice can build up there with freezing rain due to the difference in windscreen temperature. I haven't had an opportunity to play with the adaptive suspension/engine/transmission/steering in the dynamic mode yet.

The Meridian sound system is excellent - and appears to be based on the Microsoft SYNC system utilized by Ford products. It has the same general functionality and the SD based maps that need to be plugged in. I have only had the sunroof open a few times - the vent position doesn't give much lift to the panel, and open there is very little wind disruption in the car.

Reliable. Fast. Great Drive. Fantastic for passing, driving and long trips. Low maintenance required.

This car is simply the best car for the summer I have ever had! the ride is incredible and the power due to its aluminum body with 300 HP is awesome. Kick in the paddles and your in for the ride of your life. If you've ever wanted a car that is a dream car this is it, And you can get a decent one at the 35-40k level! This car brand new was 115k! that's crazy!

This was my first car, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It stands out on the road, people are constantly looking at you. Has a great presence. I did a custom exhaust to make it sound like an XFR, and ever since simply turning the car on has been a joy.

People say its unreliable and expensive to fix, but the only problem I ever had was a fuel injector going bad. Since the car was under warranty it didn't cost me a penny. Other than that its just normal wear and tear.

The Fuel mileage isn't great, but its still very manageable for a v8. It's definitely worth the performance and sound. Would never have sold it if I wasn't moving.

I have owned this vehicle for 4yrs. Now that I have all the required maintenance issue out of the way really enjoy the comfort, ride stability, and the fact that after hours of driving I dont feel exhausted. The 3.0 V-6 has a very nice stable power band. You deffinately feel a differance in preformance when you switch to Sport mode on the selector switch. Has been very reliable. Good job Jaguar.

Great understated styling and balance between all-out sports car and luxury touring sedan. Very controlled ride and with a good set of cold-weather tires, it is drama-free during the winter. Mileage in city not great but very good on highway.

I had the 3.0l x-type saloon for 4 years and liked it so much, when the time came to go a little bigger i sourced the Jaguar British Racing Green 3.0l Wagon. A little heavier on gas but to be expected. Drives quiet and solid, I truly enjoy getting in and driving this vehicle. comfortable, stylish, responsive, maintenance is not Jaguar discouraging as it is based on Ford Mondeo (Europe). Parts are available and solid. You'll need two sets of rims, one with summer boots and one set with winter/snow rubber and you'll be thanked. treat it well, it'll look after you and in economical style too. And can't help loving the leaping cat on the hood too. Get one, you will not be disappointed.

I bought this car in summer 2013, for almost nothing.. because the engine had a nasty mis-firing at any speed above an idle. Drove it home. Checked and replaced the mutilated spark plugs... and the car just FLYS ! ! ! .. and it has 288,000 KM on it ! This early 94', forged steel crankshaft, 6 litre V12, feels like it's brand new !
The GM 700R4 transmission works perfectly... but the shifter is an utter piece of junk.
Unfortunately, the car has developed numerous problems...
No rear brake action, no A/C, practically no heater, half of the door handles no longer function, drivers seat stuck in rear position, nasty rear suspension clunk ( OK, nearly 300,000 KM ) .
It's destined to be a parts car. The 6 litre V12 will be transplanted into my 77 XJ6C.

1987 through 1992 in Canada... the XJ12 as it's commonly referred to, IS THE definitive automotive statement of elegance, style, luxury and sophistication. I currently own a very nice 87 Vanden Plas, a 78 XJ12L ( Series II... not quite the perfection of reliability of the Series III ! )... and the only step above the Series III V12... a 77 XJ6C, which is getting a 6 litre V12.
Have owned an 82, 85, 86, another 87, 88, and an 89.
I'm actually an enthusiast of early 60's Chevys ( 409's ). I drag race, build cars, build performance engines, and design / manufacture high performance parts. I know cars....
When I'm out of that, on the town, ect... ONLY a Series III V12 Jaguar will do it !

Fast, reliable, handles like it's on rails, great sound, classy interior and very easy on the eyes..One Cool Cat and very sexy.

Overall, this excellent V-12 Roadster must be one of the finest currently on offer. It is finished in a rare and attractive color scheme that works very well with the car's shape, and is very easy on the eyes. It has an enviable two-owner history with very low mileage, service records, and has all the right S3 options. This car is a rare offering and represents excellent value when considering the rest of the E-type market.

Every time I drive my 2009 xf its like a new experience all the time. I have never had an issue with my vehicle, I put a custom exhaust, k & n filter and custom rims. it drives smooth but has power when you pound the peddle. The car gets looks every where I go.

What can I say? For me it is the Best Car I had.. Where ever I go and I pass by, I looked snobby and beautiful!, People turns their head and smile at the car, oh and when I park to buy stuff? People would just take selfies and pictures with my car even hugging it just like a celebrity. I dont know but this car gives me a very unusual spirit and pride when I drive it around. I feel rich and famous. Lol. Aside for its thirstyness for gas, overall? Ia proud to necome an owner of this Majesty.

This car has been outstanding never an issue never a worry.
It's simply luxury simply beautiful!
As a previous Jaguar owner for many years this one takes the cake.

Very expensive at the dealership. After 80K, everytime I take it in, I don't leave without dropping between 700 and 1200.

very reliable. Nothing has ever gone wrong. these cars are over 100k fully loaded new. so you money goes really really far when you pick up a used one.

This Jaguar is a stunning example of the S-Type series. My family and I have had this car since 2003 and we have experienced its reliability for many years. It's a powerful car with a comfortable interior.

We have driven many cars before but the ride with this Jaguar is so comfortable. Excellent suspension system!

This car is amazing. The ride both in the city and on the highway is smooth and great. In the city, put it on economy mode or have fun on the open lane. I thought that gas would be expensive in this car, but it lasts quite a while! I will miss this baby.

I have owned this car since 1992. She has never been winter driven and She has been well maintained. My mechanic was a Jaquar mechanic. His shop was on Macleod Trail for years. He only worked on exotic cars. He told me that my Jaq was one of the best mechanically sound older jag's he had ever worked on.
|She purrs like a kitten.. On the highway she is extraordinary...Passes at 120 klm like the other car is standing still. She gets down and hugs the road..

People always comment on how beautiful she is. Sure to trun heads.

Have taken this car to the mountains on many a vacation. Best ride ever. Probably the most comfortable sports car I have owned. Only issue is, I have to pull the CD changer once a year to grease it up.

Smooth ride, beautiful cabin, great features and the prettiest lines on any car in its class! Great customer experience with dealership also. Maybe one of my favorite cars that I have owned.

i love this car i have never been disappointed with it excellent in our winter weather, will drive thorugh it all, handles beautifully in all weather conditions, the two sets of tires and rims are great for the two main seasons we have, it shows well, looks impressive has been well maintained, z-barted over the years several times, original owners, driven properly, not using oil, good on gas, quiet ride so great for music and or discussion with others in the car or hands free phonecalls, they are clear not muffled.
