2010 Dodge Charger

Awesome Car!
I purchased a new 2010 off the lot and it's an all wheel drive SXT, which they didn't make very many of, and I just love the way it handles, and the ride is wonderful - smooth and it has some punch when needed. It's not the Hemi motor, but it does have some get up and go, and it's pretty good on gas considering it is a V6 full size. Love it, and am enjoying the ride!

Nice car but with a few annoying problems
The car is quite nice. I like the ride, handling (winter & summer) & styling (inside & out).
I still think that the fuel mileage could/should be better. I average 9.1L/100 which is ok but my older 2000 Impala with the 3.8L V6 gets 8.9L/100 and it has over 500,000km.
My main problems have been front brakes (it eats rotors) and also the complete front end steering components. At 180,000km I have replaced all of the ball joints, tie rods, control arms and both wheel spindle/bearings. Over $1,500.
I think I will go back to the Impala.

very comfortable car , but do not upgrade to larger than 20 in rims as ride will be compromised with the low aspect tires needed for clearance.

My experience with this car has been great except for a few minor problems. Front end knocking sound, apperently there famous for it..lol. The repair was about 200 if you fix it yourself.. Sway bar end links and bushings. The other issue was an engine light for an EVAC leak. I think it was because I installed an after market K and N intake system.. Other than that the car is awesome. I still have it..Just put my winters on
Cheers

A Big Difference Over my 2006
Eight speed transmission coupled with the 3.6L engine provides exceptional performance and excellent mileage - I'm getting 40 miles per gallon highway and 28 miles per gallon pure city driving. Smart Key, bluetooth, auto-climate control, power lumbar, display screen, overall comfort, ride, handling all make for an exceptional ride. Chrysler/Dodge out did themselves on this one compared to the 2006 I had - put 250,000 kim on that one without a single problem!

Very Nice car
All i have had to do is regular maintenance and never any large repairs. Very comforable to drive and people always have comments on how it looks and the styling is amazing.
I would recommend a charger to anyone that is looking for one.

my charger has the pentastar v6 great engine rear wheel drive lots of power and very quite. i get 8.6l per 100 km with the cruise set at 115 km on the 401. People always comment what a hot looking car it is and this is the base v6 in white. 296 hp is more than enough.

awesome ride with a unique grill
Since buying this vehicle in 2010, I've never been happier with any other car I've owned. And, I've been driving since 1985. The only other vehicle I've owned that could out perform this one, was the 1999 Dodge Durango 4 x 4, that I had before purchasing the Charger. As long as I've had this car, I've gotten nothing but positive remarks about it every where I've been; from ST. Andrews NB - ( my first vacation with this car ) to Rosemary AB ( my new home )
At first glance you'd think I was driving a " ghost car " - thanks to the " unique " after-market grill , that came with the car when I bought it. I get a lot of comments with that reference, especially from Police officers I've spoken with from the East coast to the Badlands of Alberta.

2010 Dodge Charger
I bought my car brand new in 2010. On it`s first major road trip i got 600km on the tank of gas, very impressive. It a fun car to drive eben though it ony has the 3.5 V6 in it and not the Hemi. All around it`s a great car with not that many issues with it.

Using the V6 does not impress
The phrase Dodge Charger stirs up the feeling of fun & power, its something to aspire towards owning.
After driving a V6 model, I do feel some of the rumble and excitement that I was expecting but it does fall short.
The power is limited, you would expect more out of this, my 4 cylinder import does almost as well.
If I had a V8 it should be different but I don't.
A refined interior is something that is absent in this, the overly basic interior in this leaves me thinking that that my Camry felt more like a Lexus.
Maybe its just my preference for style but I don't think I'm alone on that one.
Overview
As with any 'muscle' car, don't skip on the power, if you are going to opt for a smaller engine you might as well skip on the car and get something else. Obviously the V8 costs more to own, to gas up and insure so be cautious and factor that in your budget since the cost of ownership goes beyond just buying this car.
This car was a legend to me, maybe that's why I am so critical.

The Perfect Balance
I bought this car 11 months ago as a replacement for my Chevy Cavalier. I was nervous at first about the 3.5L V6 being much more of a gas guzzler but to my surprise it was a minimal adjustment. For a full size sedan with a V6 the fuel economy is very good. One of the biggest things that my friends in the car industry told me was that because it is a rear wheel drive (RWD) it would be terrible to control in the winter. True it was different than its front wheel drive predecessor (The Cavalier) but as long as you have a light foot there are no issues. If you do start to spin the tires, the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) does an amazing job of kicking in quickly to lock the rear tires and stop you from spinning out of control. If you want to have some fun in the summer time a simple button located on the dash turns off the ESP and allows you to have some fun with spinning the tires. I have driven from Manitoba to Alberta twice in this car and both trips have been very comfortable. The cabin is quiet and large. I am 6' 4 and had no issues being in the drivers chairs for a non-stop 12 hour drive. Every thing is laid out in the interior very well, and the one thing I really like is that everything is controlled by a switch or knob, no digital screens that you have to wait for. In the winter I want to turn the heat on A.S.A.P and not have to wait for the cars computer to fire up. Overall I would recommend a Dodge Charger to anyone who is interested in them.

PLUMB CRAZY DODGE CHARGER DAYTONA #22 of120 MADE
This car is a pleasure to drive. The car handles very nice and rides as smooth as a car can ride. She has all the power you will ever need and every option you can think of. Even the peddles are powered for people with short or long legs. Every where I go someone tells me they love my car. You have to own one to know what I am talking about. You should go and take one out for a ride to get the full affect of this car. Make sure you take out a rt or the srt8. Try it you will love this car.
