Great Work Truck
We use this truck for work and it's reliable, can pull our trailer, and dependable for the roads or tough hauling.

2004 Chevrolet Silverado 3500

Boss of the Road
Soon after meeting up with long time RV'ers it became apparent that for hauling trailers around constantly, the 1 ton 3500 Chevy/GM was the desired truck to own. While other domestic 1 tons have their definite comparable features, the overall endurance and strength of the Chevy's power-train for this year, outclasses other trucks, according to other RV haulers and mechanics. With the peace of mind added by the dual wheels providing additional stability and the luxurious ride provided by the LT model, I could never be happier with the 2004 3500. Only caution is if buying used with over 150,000 km, make sure the new improved injectors are installed as the originals had some issues and injectors can easily take $5,000 out of your wallet..

2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500

I looked 3 months to find this truck.
This truck has no issues that I could find. The only problem I had with this truck in the last year is the drivers seat belt buckle and I replaced it with a brand new one. It has had regular maintenance and I love the remote start to let it warm up before I go to work. It is comfortable and spacious with the whole family. I think this truck was used as a pilot truck before I bought it because of the condition vs KMs being so good but I am not sure. Engine hours vs KMs when I bought this truck a year ago were equivalent to 38 KMs per hour.

Lots of torque and upgraded comfort
This diesel 3500 crew cab can tow with ease and is extremely comfortable. For someone towing a trailer to Florida, or using for work, it is a safe and reliable truck with a lot of neat bells and whistles in the LTZ package- kind of like a Caddy for tough guys

This Ain't No Sissy Truck, It's Built For Work.
Probably one of the best pickups that I owned, bar none. I bought my truck for loading and pulling and it does both very well. My engine choice was the 6.0 gas, over the diesel, because I'm a flatlander from the Prairies. It does get it share of uphill climbs and 4 - 6% downgrades, but it takes those in stride. 70% of my drives are pulling a loaded 5th wheel or a loaded car trailer down to Kentucky, Texas, or Arizona. The six speed Allison will drop down a gear halfway or better up a hill while traveling 70+ mph and rarely drop another on a extra long I-40 Interstate climb out of a deep valley. Gas mileage is 8 to 11 pulling, 15 to 18 empty at cruise.

Give it a quick wash and wipe and it's commands quite an entrance at the Country Club on Saturday night. The valet's give it extra special parking spot and always thank me for letting them drive it.

The long wheel base of the extend cab and eight foot box iron out any road. Plug in the 4X4 in snow or ice and it goes anywhere. Take one for a drive and enjoy the view from a different prospective. Enjoy!

Great Truck
this truck is a great option if you are looking for heavy duty pick up. I tow my boat up to the cottage with it; never have any problems

Beauty of a truck!
This is a real beauty! Extremely comfortable, shiny as shiny can be and pretty decent on fuel for a truck. It is very reliable, I have had to do little to no work aside from your basics on it. No issues at all a real beaut!

It's just the perfect truck..
It's a great all around vehicle especially for those of us who do heavy hauling through dangerous and uncertain road types and conditions.

It's good!
It has great hauling power and pretty good looks. It is fairly cheap for fuel, and is a cheaper heavy truck.
