Chevrolet Malibu 2004Change

It's a handsome car, with lots of nice features. Been driving Malibu's a lot and nothing but satisfied, Offering decent fuel economy as well as a very nice amount of pick-up.

I have had problems with the power steering suddenly failing, the gas gauge no longer works and with all the bells and whistles inside the car, something is bound to break... like the vanity mirror cover snapped off and now it no longer lights up, the power rear view mirror button snapped off and it's not like I use that one as I'm the only driver... just cheap plastic parts combined with extreme Manitoba heat/cold temperatures.

Besides the problems I've encountered, I'm pleased with the car as it was an affordable luxury car, is pretty good on gas (though you wouldn't know it since it always says low fuel even when it's full) is a smooth ride, accelerates well, steers well (except when the power steering fails) and looks appealing, especially with the spoiler and sunroof!

Great gas mileage, have had a lot of problems with suspension. There are a lot of these cars and the road, probably because of the great mileage it gives. 5.5/100k on the highway. City driving averages about 10. Starting to have problems with the fuel guage. Internet says its a common problem.

Problems occasionally, very average car. Exterior and interior are very normal; matches its lower price value. Loud engine however so it is not a quiet ride but overall speaking taking in the considerations of price and value, it is what you would expect. Not less and definitely not more.

This has been my first car and it may look like an old person car but it has worked really well and hasn't had any issues. The fuel economy is better than you would think too.

I have had my Malibu for 4 years now. It has been through a lot in my care. I did get regular oil changes and maintain it for wear and tear. I would recommend this car. Absolutely!

this is the best car i have ever owned it is reliable and cheap to maintain.it is great on gas and parts are cheap to buy.i have a 175000 km on car and it has never left me stranded on road is good in winter with front wheel drive.

the vehicle is great to handle and has many surprisingly cool features like the remote start.The car has an amazing feel on the steering and is responsive with features like the and the ABS and the anti locking.The car has kerb appeal and good body language it has average fuel economy .The trunk space surprises even truck owners and is conveniently lit and secure with side nets for loose stuff.

This car feels far more spacious then when i first saw it. My son plays hockey and we were nervous about being able to carry his and maybe a friends gear to the arena. No problem, better then the Impala we had previously. My wife enjoys driving it to and from work, good gas mileage, comfortable, easy to park, little if any blind spots. She feels safe, enough said.

We first drove a 2004 Malibu when we rented one for a 7-week trip across Canada and the USA. We were so impressed with the comfort and reliability of the car that when it came time to buy another vehicle, we searched for the same model that we had rented. We've now owned this car for over 3 years and haven't had a speck of trouble with it. We've driven a lot of different cars over the years, and we'd have to say that this is our favourite yet!

I owned this car and I regret it. First of all electrical system had a gremlin in it, lights went off for no reason. Occasionally the radio turns on inside the car while you unlock the doors without engine running. Hood latch replaced, auto start wouldn't work, trunk latch replaced, inside trunk stopped working, trunk lock stuck so you can't open the trunk any of the 3 ways.
