Easily the most enjoyable vehicle I've ever owned.

Quiet, smooth, powerful, and very very comfortable.

Wish I didn't have to sell my gorgeous BMW X5. It's a great car with all the bells and whistles - a smooth ride, truly luxurious and reliable. I haven't driven it much, only 123,00 KM and no long drives, only locally in West Vancouver. One female owner.

Awesome vehicle to drive. Handles great and especially in winter driving conditions. 3rd row seats is very handy if you ever need to get 7 people fitted in for your journey

BMW pride themselves on building automobiles that are a joy to drive and this one is no exception. The 3.0 L inline 6 cylinder was rated as one of the best engines ever made and combines performance, reliability and fuel economy in a seamless package.

Lots of highway miles on the vehicle as it has been to many destinations around North America. Vehicle is in excellent shape and has many more miles to travel.

my BMW x5 from 2001 still drives smoother than my brand new SUV. When i turn on the car, it is an exhilarating experience.

This is a solid well built vehicle. It handles and rides great in all types of weather. It has lots of power and gets good gas mileage. Low km and no mechanical issues that I know of (had it checked at BMW dealership when I purchased it) and I have only put on 20,000km since purchase. Really enjoyed owning it.

it is a great car to drive anywhere you may need to go i have even taken it up the lake a few times now little out of season but we are getting there here the ride is nice and smooth great handling and control love this car and plane to keep it in tip top shape for years to come.

Had a few problems during the warranty period that were fixed prmomptly. I now have a check light that has come on and sounds like I will be into a $2,000 repair bill. The warranty just expired. I am obviously not happy.

This BMW is my favourite car because it drives nicely and it feels right to me when I drive it . I would recommend this car to anyone

BMW is a sporty, fast, performance vehicle. The X5 is a perfect size sport utility for carting around hockey bags or groceries. Comfort and style is top notch

BMW has a great community support. There are lots of DIY you can learn from and save lots of money. Many of the problems are known and not much is needed for guessing what is wrong with your vehicle.

Great ride at low and high speed. Lots of options to make your ride comfortable on long trips.

It's a great car for the family. Safe, comfortable, very low level of external noise. Motor meets all conditions. On highways have a very good stability and very well stated in the curves.

No high maintenance cost, consistent with the quality of the model.

It's an amazing BMW however it has a pretty bad fuel economy but overall I would recommend this vehicle.

The car is a bit tight inside, especially the 3rd row of seating, it is overall a fun ride but it could be better

This SUV was the best vehicle that I ever had. It's ride was very good and I liked the speed that it reached. The fact that it had bi-xenon headlamps was great, because at night you could see much better than the regular halogen lamps on my previous car.

I love the comfort, appearance and over all appeal of this vehicle. I would prefer this to a mini-van anyday.

My experience with my first ever BMW has been nothing short of fantastic. It's a great ride, comfortable, solid and easy on the eyes. The MONSTROUS sun roof and heated steering wheel have to be my favorite little bells and whistles. Sadly, I need to part ways with it, but very glad to have 'checked that box' and give someone else the opportunity to do the same. (All original docs available and no accidents)

I have used this vehicle for 8 months, and I must say that this car is joy to drive. Not the very best fuel economy or comfort, but the sheer pleasure of driving makes you forget about all its flaws. I recommend this car to everyone looking to buy a reliable SUV.

Although It was a bit more expensive that I first imagined, it was well worth it in the end. I've test driven X4's and X3's and they don't have the same power as this X5. I've heard many good things about it and it surpassed my expectations. Great car for a high price. Would not recommend getting if you’re on a tight budget.

One thing that you should watch out for is the suspension. Sometimes it isn’t the greatest off-road and in muddy places. Although the gas mileage isn't the greatest and the interior could use a bit more refining, I'd recommend this car to anybody, any day.

Everything is beautiful with an X5, until you have to fill it (with premium) or repair it. It definitely is a status symbol because the cost to maintain and drive it is astronomical.

its a good car, maintenance is costly, so is fuel. indicators of car problems are always off. car is very heavy. interior is practical although it takes some getting used to. must read the user manual to get acquainted with it.

I purchased a certified pre-owned 2006 BMW X5 in 2009 and have had an excellent experience overall. First, it looks and feels like a luxury car, and it was a really terrific value as a pre-owned vehicle. Love the panoramic sunroof, adjustable individually heated seats but the best part of winter driving is the heated steering wheel! Lots of space for passengers and for things in the back, which normally houses my 2 big dogs! Smooth driving and feel completely safe in all seasons.

Not so good is fuel economy. I got the 3.0 version, thinking the 4.4 might be better on gas as this car is a beast and with gas prices the way they are, have considered moving to another vehicle.
