Althou the s4 is not the best on gas, it is a beautiful car equipped with audi's newest and most innovative technology. Also, the s4 is a very fast vehicle.

Great car. Fun to drive. Would happily buy again. Good combination of power and luxury. Haven't chipped it yet but plan to do so.

These cars are amazing. The ride is only slightly stiffer to allow the lower springs for better handling. The power from the 410HP tune is smooth and responsive. The Dynamic steering and ride control sharpens the knife even further as the magnetic ride adjusts the suspension and the s-tronic 7 speed dual clutch transmission takes on a more aggressive shift pattern.

Even the sound that comes from the STaSiS exhaust system has an exhilarating effect right from start up. When pulling through the gears this car is smooth and one can't help but smile and feel alive.

The S4 is simply an amazing car. The S4 with STaSIS package boasts the luxury Audi is famous for, with the performance of an exotic.

PROs- My 5th Audi in 26 years. Audi has put the money into the engine on this version (B8 - 2012) ( albeit they cheaped out on the leather and some other accessories that used to be on previous generation S4's). Perfect daily driver and will track well as it for casual lapping days. Easy to modify - plenty of power already but you may want to upgrade the sways and chassis bracing. Next go exhaust ' cause this OEM exhaust is too quiet for the enthusiast.
9/10 value for the dollar.
CON's - there are too many on the road. Nothing special unless you tweak the looks.

This has been the best car I have own to date! it's perfect in any weather! Driven with confidence in dry, wet, snow and icy conditions! It' has performance that it begging to be used at any moment you need it! The car stays planted to the pavement and hugs corners with ease! the engine is silky smooth and good linear power! The chassis is tight and solid as you would expect from German engineering. This is not your average B5 S4 tho! It has been modified with performance and a conversion package that makes it the only one of it's type in all of Canada! I get compliments about the vehicle no matter where I go!

4 season rocket. luxury meets performance. rally car in formal wear. quattro conquers all. interior is sublime. suspension is refined. subtle yet confident exhaust note. sports diff is a must to bring out the inner athlete in this car.

I hummed and hawed about paying the money for the S4 when I first saw it even though it was gorgeous. I am very happy i took the plunge and went for it. This car can turn a humdrum drive into an exciting and pleasurable experience. The seats are superb, The handling unmatched with Quattro and sports differential ( definitely recommend spending the extra $ 1400 for sports differential ) Acceleration is unbelievable, you pound the gas and this wolf in sheep's clothing nails you to the seat. Its uncanny what this 333 hp supercharged V6 can do. The subtle refined exterior belays the monster that lies beneath. It handles like a dream and corners under speed like no other sport sedan. The M3 cannot touch this thing in the curves. Mileage is fair to good unless you push it which you want to do all the time. Only grumble is the 600W Bang and Olufsen is underwhelming.

Very quick and comfortable. Much lighter than the V8 version of a few years back. Confident on the street and very track able if you are so inclined. Get one with the Sport Differential - makes a huge difference and not other mods needed besides summer rims to go with your winter tire on the OEM rims.

These cars are obviously shaping up to be relics. I do not see a lot of auto manufacturers getting behind the idea of a 340 hp station wagon that slurps back 91 octane. However, it is a joy to own. The pre-FSI motor is very reliable and delivers wonderful performance. It's a weird combination of practical wagon and impractical beast. Love it.

This car is wonderful its the best sport sedan on the road! It handles like a charm and accelerates like you would never think you were sitting in sedan. Honestly, if you are looking to buy a sports car but want 4 doors this is the car for you!

Very Capable sports sedan. Plenty of power and the AWD system is absolutely wonderful in Canadian Winters. Braking power is impressive and handling is smooth yet firm. A real drivers car!

One test drive was all it took to convince me this was the perfect car (for the price). The combination of Quattro all-wheel-drive, DSG Sport Transmission, and Sports Differential (Limited Slip) created a car that can do almost anything. Cornering is unbelievable in the summer, and grip is incredible in the winter. The V6 Supercharged engine launches the car ferociously with its 333 hp. And of course, the interior is arguably the best in its class. A near perfect luxury sports sedan.

The first thing anyone notices about the car is its looks. It has the perfect balance of luxury and sport, which carries on into the cabin. Inside the luxurious german quality is evident everywhere.
From the clicking sound of the buttons to the stitching of the seams and everything in between. The leather Recaro bucket seats are extremely comfortable and with the heaters on, they are amazing in the winter time. Speaking of which, the Quattro AWD system is simply awesome. The V8 sound of this 4.2 engine is impressive, as are the 340 HP this monster produces. The 6 sp manual transmission makes this car an absolute delight to drive. The only downside is the fuel consumption. While highway driving brings it down to 12L/100km, spirited city driving can bring the average up to 16L. But it all depends on the driver.

My first premium vehicle, bought it brand new. first of all, in straight speed its almost second to none. its so planted, and brakes so well. that you are confident driving at any situation in any kind of weather. however, in start and go traffic (ie vancouver) its fuel economy really takes a hit. i live in the city and commutes about 40k daily, i have never lasted more than 370km per tank. the interior design is kinda dated compare to new cars that came out the past 2 years, but its still a nice luxurious layout over all. its quiet, almost muted, but goes like a rocket when u give the command. it gets anywhere safely and quietly, just dont be fooled into thinking its a sports car. cuz it simply isnt

The S4 may not be for everyone, but it hits the right buttons for me. I'm far more likely to take my personal vehicle on a long trip than I am to a track day, but I still enjoy blitzing through winding country roads on a daily basis. The S4 seems to offer the best of both worlds: around town, it's benign and comfortable, something I can't bring myself to say of a 3 Series equipped with the sport suspension package. Once traffic opens up, it's intoxicating to dip into the throttle: though the supercharged 3.0-liter six is a little muted for some tastes, it's happy to respond to throttle input, and it pulls as if there's no tomorrow. The six-speed manual transmission is also a delight: shift throws are crisp and smooth, and the clutch's feel and weighting leave little room for improvement. There's also the extra bonus of Quattro coming as standard equipment - not only does it help keep the nose-heavy S4 neutral in corners (as does the optional torque-vectoring rear differential), but it's a boon come winter time, considering my commute incorporates steep, dirt-surfaced roads that regularly grow quite slick. Simply amazing.

I have driven this car in the rain and it's superb AWD is truly impressive. It is also amazing to drive with the top down in sunny weather. The interior is really nice and it has ample power. You really need to drive the car to understand what great value you are getting out of this Audi.

This car is amazing. Put aside gas mileage and some costly maintenance, I love this car. Bullet proof!! I driven this hard including many track days at Shonnonville and Calabogie. What a riot. I have 445000 k on the car, of which I've put on 255. I bought the car for $20,000 got a luxury car that served my family well. Traction in the snow is amazing, complete control in 4 whell power slide. Okay gas mileage for the long trips. But if you want fun very nice balance of power...265 ponies dual turbo great suspension = fantastic. Did I mention I love it?!?!?

Owned the car for only a week. The interior is stunning. I will always pick Audi over MB or BMW. The interior of the S4 is definitely a few grades higher than the comparable MB and BMW. Performance is excellent, both in dry and snow condition. Just had a few inches of snow and the car is solid. Seat is comfortable. Passenger backseat is much roomier than the 3 series and the C class. Owned 2 Audis before and just had a Subaru. Audi quattro beats Subaru AWD system by miles.

My 2011 S4, which I've had for two and a half years now, since new, is amazing. Never had a problem with it, other than a small, inconsequential recall. With 333 hp and all wheel drive, this thing bombs around town and the highway with pleasure. As you'd expect with an Audi, the features are luxurious, well thought out, and impeccably built. A true joy to own and operate for those who don't mind the extra bucks in gas and insurance.

I've loved this car! Looks great, sounds amazing and is the best possible blend of sport and power with the V8 and S line sport package, ultimate winter driving with the AWD and full luxury and comfort with all the options.
