Acura RL 1990-2015Change

It's a budget car with flexibility and extreme engine. Had a nice experience with it. I have a good experience with the engine of it. This car's controlling is so smooth. This car comes to with great affordable price. It's others parts are also easy to get. User should have a great maintenance if anyone own this car. This car is really amazing one.

have had no problems with it in the past 2 years since I got it. Very relaxing and beautiful interior.

Had a good time with it, a lot of nice rides, it rides pretty smooth at that. Not much of a car person so I cannot comment on the technical stuff but it has not broken down yet and I haven't taken it to the mechanic so I got that going for me. To be perfectly honest I wish I had gotten a BMW or something like it does feel a bit tacky, people don't really respect it you know what I'm saying?

This car was very fun to drive everywhere.

I would often drive anywhere and everywhere to places such as the beach, drive-in and a million other personal errands.

I was surprised how little gas it requires and got a lot of mileage out of this brilliant car.

I would recommend this to friends.

Have owned an '01 RL for 9 years and it has never let me down. The reviews were excellent when I bought it and it has been a joy to drive every time I get behind the wheel. Very smooth acceleration, with lots of power when you need it. Runs on both regular or premium gas, but performs better with premium. The car only comes fully loaded, and the interior is comfortable and spacious. The factory installed Bose sound system is superb! Just some minor rust appearing now. Not bad for a 15 year old vehicle. Only hope my next car serves me as this one has.

Excellent long distance cruiser. Refined and comfortable with ample passing power. Very reliable and lots of comfort features. Elegant and refined. Surprisingly sporty when pushed, has an excellent foundational chassis.

Fantastic Acura RL. Too many good times to write. Always reliable and a comfortable ride. Perfect car for just about anyone. Lots of class and style.

Owned a '98 RL for six years and never regretted the decision. It rode well the entire time I owned it.

Pros: Very reliable overall vehicle, good gas mileage (for size and class), options very reliable, exceptional comfort, powerful enough to be a reliable tow vehicle,

Cons: Styling is a little boring, handling is 'squishy', brakes are relatively weak and need servicing more than I would have preferred.

Can and would drive until the end of time.
SH-AWD is truly unreal, I am sure this thing has saved my life many times.

I can and would drive my 05 RL until the end of time.
Now that the RL has become obsoleted in production I am forced to look at the replacement RLX.
RL is the first car I have owned for 7 years and counting.
Makes my life happy and a great pleasure to drive.
Many people during filling up gas will ask me what kind of car is this and that they have never seen one before.
Still drives perfectly with 160,000 KM.

The car is amazing all around. I got into 5 minor and 1 major accident in the vehicle and it still runs till this day. The fact that it is so safe isn't the only thing. The fuel efficency and comfortable interior make things 10 times better.

I love this car had it for 10 years now, it has never given up on me. The only problem is its not as great as it should be on gas. Other than that the pick up is great, perfect family car in my opinion.

In love with the car seat heating. Very comfortable, family friendly, good trunk space. Seating is comfortable, I like the back seat options.

like me i can touch the 240/km and the good sound system makes it even more enjoyable with some good beat inside!

I had a great experience with this car so far.. It is so comfortable and the performance of the car is way above human limit. I love the car fuel economy because you can go far with a full tank. The exterior design is great as well as the interior. To conclude, this car's reliatbility is great

It was really comfortable for my family and really good heating system. This car is really good for driving on highway or long drives because you save a lot of gas. I bought this car for about $5000 and that was a really good price.

its been good over the years. Only broke down once. but still working fine . I am fine with it for now but thinking of buying new car in the next year.

V6 replaces turbo I4
Despite many brands downsizing their engines in order to improve the fuel economy, Acura actually went the other way with the 2013 RDX. The old gen’s 2.3L turbo engine was canned in favour of the familiar 3.5L V6.

With the new engine, power goes up (273 hp vs. 240) and torque goes down (251 lb-ft vs. 260). The result is a slightly quicker, but much more responsive, RDX as the 2013 version we tested reached 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds, versus 6.7 for the outgoing 2012 version. The V6 is also smoother, and power delivery isn’t as lumpy as with the old turbo mill. The typical luxury crossover buyer will probably approve the engine swap, and so do I.

Combined with a 6-speed automatic, the 2013 Acura RDX is very quiet on the highway; at 100 km/h, the V6 spins at 1,700 rpm. Fuel economy has also improved, as we observed an average of 10.8L/100km over the course of the test, better than what we achieved with the old RDX which was already fuel efficient.

my car is the best, it has everything i could have hoped and asked for. its durable, luxurious and sleek. i love it so. the only thing i think i would have changed was color but oh well, but besides that it is an ideal car for a young lady

I Personally love this car it works Great for my family! I Very much hope That many other poeple purchase this car.

I've owned this car for about two years and so far have had to put over $5k into it. Nothing but problems with the electronics and luxury features. Ac condenser needed to be replaced, bluetooth module stopped working suddenly, loud whining noises when cold, weird whirring noise all the time. Good looking car, full on luxury and class, but made a mistake by buying a first year model.

DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME. From what I hear the late 2006's and up have most of the issues I've had worked out.

This car lasted me a very long time and was very reliable indeed. It helped me a lot with the things I needed and Wasn't the best car in the world, but it got me there, and it got me there fine. Okay fuel economy, could be better though.

This car is generally good, except it is not comfortable, but at the same time it is comfortable. This may be due to the fact that it has a leather interior. When driving on dry roads, the stability greatly decreases, and this may be because the car is relatively light in comparison to the vehicles that I have previously owned. This car could use some major improvement so that it would become a much better car, and this includes a more powerful engine, and swapping the leather material interior with plastic interiors. Overall, I think this car is alright but definitely not the best.

My car is not bad... I will admit to having been so smitten by Subaru’s first-ever rear-drive performance coupe, the BRZ, that we haven’t paid much attention to the carmaker’s organically grown, high-fiber AWD wagons and crossover SUVs of late. It isn’t that we don’t have the occasional need for something suitably demure to take the golden retrievers to a quilters’ convention or retrieve a Victorian-era Ottoman for an installment of Antiques Roadshow. It’s just that the relationship had grown so cozy and familiar we’ve begun to take each other, you know, for granted.
