2008 Chrysler Town & Country

A truly versatile and reliable vehicle!
Reliable, comfortable with decent performance (after all, it is a minivan, so I do not expect it to be the fastest car on the road or to take corners at 120 km/h). The 4.0L engine (on Limited model) is surprisingly fuel efficient - more than 3.6L found on other trims, and how adequate power. The entertainment options will keep the passengers busy on long trips (can even connect PlayStation with VGA input and 115V outlet!) and... you can lay flat a few 4x8 dray-wall sheets and still close the rear door - a truly versatile and reliable vehicle!

Love this car
This is the second town & country we have owned. First 2010, now 2008. I was disappointed in selling the first one 2010 touring was a 25th anniversary special, but at the time was no longer needed. We decided we needed another people mover so found a higher mileage one at a reasonable price. It is loaded and we love it. Both had the 4.0 l engine, 6spd. The second one is a limited and has every option which we enjoy. Would not hesitate to buy another but think we will keep this one for a while. The anniversary 2010 was a spec green color was awesome, 2008 is white but still nice.

Vehicle review
This has been a good comfortable vehicle. We do not need a van for the family anymore. Have a Jeep on order. Excellent for long drives and vacations. Have had some claims under the Chrysler Gold Plan. There is still plenty of time and kms remaining with the current Gold Plan.

Great Minivan & Loaded with features
We just got this minivan recently and it is loaded to the max with features to make your road trip a pleasure. 2 Drop down DVD screens with remote & wireless headphones keep the kids happy while we listen to satellite radio and an excellent 9 speaker system. The ride is smooth and quiet and the heated leather seats a pleasure to recline in and let the miles flow. The 4L 6 cylinder engine is peppy and the transmission is smooth. Handy features like car seats that push back to aid exiting the van when you turn the ignition off, remote start and GPS maps on the LCD Navigation screen are very handy. The airy and bright interior and the attractive exterior make this one handsome minivan to go anywhere with the family.

2008 Town & Country Touring 3.8L
You can't beat the functionality of a van and the Town & Country adds features that you must have when you buy a van; power siders and power hatch! It is great when you have two young children and holding one in your arms and all you have to do is hit a button to open the sliding door and pop them inside! You don't have to worry about your independant 4 year old opening the door and giving the car beside you a door ding with the sliding doors. Chrysler really knew what families needed when they developed the minivan. I know its not as cool as an SUV, but you can fit way more in a van and they are way more convenient!
Our van now has 75K on it with no problems and have only had to replace the brakes. Chrysler did recall for the sliding door, but we never had any problems with ours.
The fuel economy could be better, but it is a large and heavy van, so I guess it isn't that bad.

Chrysler T&C is a great deal if you buy used.
As someone who never owned a luxury vehicle before, it is a nice ride. I never cared about having a vehicle with all the bells and whistles before but now I am finding them useful. If you choose to buy luxury find a used one when most of the depreciation has been used.
