The lineup is simplified to three models, with additions and deletions to the GL and GLS models. The Veracruz comes as the GL FWD, GL AWD, and GLS AWD. All use a 3.8-litre V6 engine with six-speed automatic transmission, and all come with three rows of seats for seven-passenger seating. Features on the GL FWD include 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, controls for the second- and third-row ventilation, centre console, cruise control, driver’s auto up/down window, CD/MP3 stereo with USB and auxiliary input, Bluetooth connectivity, illuminated vanity mirrors, conversation mirror, heated cloth seats, 60/40 split-folding second row seats, 50/50 fold-into-floor third-row seats, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, fog lights, heated mirrors with puddle lamps and integrated turn signals, front and rear mud guards, rear spoiler, roof rack side rails, privacy glass, front windshield wiper de-icer, rear washer/wiper, keyless entry, and rear parking assist system. The GL AWD is similarly equipped. The GLS AWD adds 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, air quality system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, eight-way power driver’s seat, heated second-row seats, leather upholstery, power liftgate, power sunroof, and automatic headlights.
