Finally, families fond of the Fiat 500 can have a vehicle from the Italian automaker that fits their lifestyle. Other than its name, the 500L doesn't share much with the tiny 500. It uses a 1.4L turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 160 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, which can be matched to either a six-speed manual, or six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This bizarre-looking little MPV's trim levels are Pop, Sport, Trekking and Lounge.
Pop trim comes with cloth seats, air conditioning, body-coloured dash, cruise control, Uconnect 5.0, Bluetooth, tilt-and-telescoping steering column, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, a 60/40 split folding rear seat that tilts, tumbles and slides, multi-position parcel shelf, 16-inch steel wheels with covers, power windows, locks and mirrors, wide angle side mirrors, projector headlights, bright door handles and exhaust tip, driver's knee airbag, active front head restraints, keyless entry, hill start assist, tire pressure monitoring display and engine block heater.
The move up to Sport trim adds heated front sport seats, 17-inch aluminum wheels, sport suspension, rear armrest with cupholder, leather-wrapped steering wheel, chrome-and-leather shift knob, automatic climate control, driver's seat lumbar, fog lights, satellite radio, body-colour side mirrors, garage door opener, front-seat centre console, 115-volt power outlet, vinyl-wrapped instrument panel and deep-tint sunscreen glass.
Trekking models get premium cloth seats, unique front and rear fascia, wheel arch mouldings, body-colour fascia accents, satin bodyside mouldings and door handles, bright front door sill scuff pads and a painted instrument panel.
Lounge trim includes leather seats, front passenger seat lumbar adjustment, chrome side mirrors and bodyside moulding, six-speaker stereo, rear park assist and backup camera.
