The Versa hatchback carries over unchanged from the 2011 model. The Versa sedan uses a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine. It comes with a five-speed manual transmission in the S trim level, with a five-speed manual or optional continuously variable transmission (CVT) in the SV, and with the CVT in the SL. The Versa Hatchback uses a 1.8-litre four-cylinder with six-speed manual transmission or optional four-speed automatic in the S trim line, and six-speed manual or optional CVT in the SL. Features on the S sedan include 15-inch steel wheels, black grille, black door handles, heated mirrors, trip computer, tilt steering column, intermittent rear washer/wiper, cloth seats with four-way manual driver’s adjustment, CD audio system with auxiliary input, and active front head restraints. The SV sedan adds air conditioning, power locks with keyless entry, illuminated entry, chrome-accented grille, chrome door handles, electroluminescent gauges, trunk light, passenger seatback pocket, six-way manual driver’s seat adjustment, upgraded cloth trim, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, and trunk lid trim. The SL sedan adds 15-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, variable intermittent wipers, front map lights, passenger vanity mirrors, CD/MP3 stereo, iPod interface, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. Features on the S hatchback include 15-inch steel wheels, heated mirrors, tilt steering column, variable intermittent wipers, intermittent rear wiper, front door pockets and bottle holders, cargo cover, passenger vanity mirror, double-foam cloth seats, four-way manual driver’s seat, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, silver interior trim accents, CD stereo with auxiliary input, and front seat active head restraints.
