Motorcycle Attacked by Shopping Cart and Pink Handbag

Just when you think you've seen everything on a dashcam, you find a new video that surprises you. In fact, it will probably surprise you as much as it did the hapless motorcyclist who caught the incident on camera earlier this week.

A motorcyclist is enjoying an early winter ride in Salt Lake City, Utah, when an impatient shopping cart runs a stop sign and runs head first into a Honda Civic. That's right, the shopping cart pops out into traffic from between a Toyota 4Runner and a Subaru Legacy before being struck by the Civic and sent flying at the motorcyclist. The rider is nearly hit by not just the cart, but by a loaf of bread and a very pink purse. Fortunately, the cart misses the rider, but it does strike the Jeep Grand Cherokee that was next in line. It's not clear if any eggs were broken, but fortunately no one appears to have been injured in the cart-llision.

After a moment the rider raises their visor and just looks around at the grocery carnage. Because let's face it, what else can you do in a situation that surreal? Looks like autonomous shopping carts need to go back to the drawing board.
