I have been driving this car for 2 years now and its been amazing. Very good on gas because of the 2.4 l engine. Low kilometers on it. It is very reliable and safe car. Very nice ride.

This car has been extremely good to us as far as reliability, we have kept up on maintenance and the fwd gets us around good in any season. It's comfortable and stylish, and gets you where you want to go whether around town or on the highway.

Extremely reliable vehicle, drives nice, never had an issue with the car. Definitely recommend for cheap fuel economy.

Very good condition, no accident, every year do rustproof for underneath, sides and doors. Very large space, save energy and load big furniture

This car is so easy to handle and maneuvers perfectly in traffic. Has lots of room in the back seat and trunk when transporting larger objects. The winter tires are a great asset in our Saskatchewan winters!

good reliable car, great for students. handles well on highway and city roads. the AC works, but no power locks. it drove from Hamilton and back for over 2 months with no issues

I had a 98 FWD Trans Sport for 2 years, I was the 3rd owner and although it was an old car, it did deliver! Performance wise I found it excellent, very sporty, sprinted with ease. The only issue this minivan has is the radiator leak, gasket, break lines (after 15 years they all seem to have the same problem).

The fuel economy was unbelievable!! 10.5% consumption OR 24 MPG

Unfortunately I had to give it away, but not without feeling sorry I had to....

I loved the exterior of my 2007 Torrent AWD and was excited about the interior but after driving it for a while I noticed that the good and the bad:

THE BAD
The outlet is inconveniently located (too low to plug a Bluetooth device and talk), the front seats have no arm rests, the fuel economy is not what they say it is...it takes a full tank for 500 km driving little city and mostly hwy no more than 100-110 km/h. I used to have a '98 FWD Pontiac Trans Sport, amazing minivan, in short...a SPRING CHICKEN...on the same size fuel tank I was driving 600 km...maybe AWD takes up more fuel
Well, the Torrent is more like a Grandma who's really trying....

The GOOD
Plenty of leg room both at the front and back, the back seat is adjustable, which is great, the cargo area is fairly large. It drives nicely but I find it kind of lazy when accelerating, especially up hill. Overall it seems pretty "healthy" for a 5 yr old car

All in all, I think there are better choices for the $$, but if you really want a Torrent, is not bad but you have to put up with these things

Well maintained, regular oil changes. lots of storage space with a hatchback and seats fold down to make for an unbelievable amount of space. Good on gas with a 4 cylinder engine but power is not compromised. Very comfortable seating and lots of head room, unlike many other cars of the same general sized. This car has a Toyota engine so it will last! Very reliable vehicle.
