Having just written a review of my regular daily driver; the Mercedes Benz E320 4Matic sedan, I thought I would share some thoughts on my summer vehicle: a 1991, I own a beautiful Pre-Owned summer car. I do not feel the need to recount the history of my famed Japanese Exotic car, and the majority of the auto enthusiast world acknowledges this legendary vehicle as not only an icon but as one of the most reliable user friendly enthusiast vehicle ever offered by a mainstream auto manufacturer. I have owned this particular example three times in the past fifteen years, having sold it and repurchased it each time repeating both the pleasure of the acquisition along with the remorse of the sale. In between each transaction a variety of rivals have occupied the Acura's spot in the garage, but none could fully replace that vehicles total competency and owner satisfaction. Ferraris with style can thrill but often break, Corvettes try hard but rattle and shake, a Porsche in every driveway is sadly true, so when it comes to a rare ride only the Acura will do . Best of all it is a Honda, from a company that back in 1989 turned the automotive world on its ear and will now do its magic on the aviation community with their new Jet. Note; ten years in development and production. Nonetheless,I truly cannot wait for the New NSX and can only imagine what wonderful technology the genius that is Honda will filter down and be bestowed upon this sure to be ground breaking Hybrid Super car. It will have been almost ten years since the last one produced and twenty five years after the launch of the original. Happily in this case, if history repeats itself as often is has, we are surely in for a treat.

The Mercedes Benz E-Class Sedan is by a far margin the best overall value in a Pre-Owned vehicle. When new the E-Class was considered the benchmark in its respective market. As a Pre-Owned vehicle the E-Class maintains its reputation as an extremely reliable, solid as a bank vault world class luxury sedan. Although diligent preventative and regular maintenance are a prerequisite of the brand, the routine aftermarket care of these vehicles is not as costly as the general public assumes. Well cared for examples are known to last decades on the road offering their owners hundreds of thousands of pleasure filled kilometres. Having personally owned several Pre-Owned E-Class sedans over the years, as well as several of the competitive Brands comparable vehicles, I can assure you that while some manufacturers may claim to have a better driving machine, or replicate such a perfect tribute which has no "soul" leaving the driver unsatisfied, almost as if driving the makers lesser Brand, Mercedes ownership, once experienced is soon taken for granted. Still a Premium vehicle even when Pre-Owned, The E-Class is worth the extra investment and I personally prefer owning a Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz over any new comparably priced new vehicle. New Hyundai or Used Mercedes, it is not a question but rather a far nicer alternative!
