Very reliable and fun!
This car has been very good to me. Never gave me any problems and I drove from Ontario to BC with it. Great in the winter. Traction control works very well. Flashy and fun!
Only selling because I needed a bigger SUV.

Terrific ride with lots of power when needed.
It has comfortable seats that hold you in place and provides a smooth ride. There is power available when needed and this car has been a very reliable. It holds the road very well and braking is short and steady. The steering wheel provides control over the stereo, your cell phone as well as cruise control. This is very handy and a safe way to drive. It takes regular gasoline (octane 87), the least expensive gasoline. It has lots of room in the front seats and no one has complained about the room in the back seats. The trunk also provides sufficient room for several suitcases and boxes when travelling.

Great little compact
Feels quite sporty to drive, great throttle response instant power
Great for everyday driving. Some weak points are that it has quite a bit of road noise and there is a weird clattering noise from the transmission at around 3rd gear but the dealer checked it and said that there is no problem with it. The maintaince cost is surprising low. Had this car for 3 years and 80000km.

Upgrading to the GS trim made it look very good
This car has been great to drive and I have loved every corner of its design. In fact, I've bough the same car in automatic (instead of manual) so my wife can drive it.

Incredible car.
Of all the cars I have owned, this one takes the cake by far. It's safe, it drives great, handles perfectly and hasn't caused me one bit of trouble. The only down fall is the one blown speaker I had to replace, but let's be honest...blown speakers are always the fault of the driver.

The car is sleek, gets great reviews and drives like a race car. It has nice power, nice get up and has taken to the mountains very well.

Love this car and when the lease is up, I will purchase it.

My Mazda 3
We have had our Mazda for a couple of years now and have found it to very reliable. It has never let us down thorugh brutal winters to very hot summers. We find it to be such a great vehicle that we know moving forward that our next vehicles will be Mazda's.

2010 Mazda 3 sport .
Very comfortable on long drives. On the highway and in cruise, she pulls up hills with ease and is a pleasure to drive. The fuel mileage is decent even the way I drive it ,being a standard ,like a sports car.I love the auto head lights, auto wipers and auto dimming rear view mirror. After market parts are readily available ,so customizing is easier than I thought it would be.My only negatives are the colour ,black was a poor choice. It looks great but a pain to keep clean, and shows all the scratches.Fog lights almost useless and very vulnerable to rock damage (I've lost two on the passenger side). Expensive as well,Mazda wanted $200 internet replacements were $75,and fit like new. Also the factory supplied tires wear out very quickly. By 60000 kms they were done. But that was to be expected .That said I love this car ,and will keep it until its last days.

Economic and comfortable sports car
The price for the sports car is attractive. The exterior looks smart and trendy. Power is acceptable; the only problem of the car or hatch-back vehicle is that it is easily got dirty. It is spacious for the front seats; a bit tight for the back seat; comfortable for 2 persons. The aux-in is very handy because you can hide all the wire in the drawer avoiding wire flying around. Another potential problem is that it is not easy to change the cabin air filter because you may need to take out the glove box, unhook some of the wires before you can reach the filter. Overall, it is a good car.

Mazda Forever
I have had mazdas for the past 10 years and have never had any problems at all. I've never had to replace parts, had unexpected gliches or unexplained maintenance problems. The mazda 3 is also very good on gas. I find that I can drive to work and back everday, take the odd road trip and run errands on the weekends for less than 200 dollars per month.

Great Compact Daily Driver!
Looks - either you love it or you hate it. It's a very happy car.

Performance-wise, in AT, it can take a while to pick up. It may feel a bit heavy in those situations where you have just a few seconds to merge onto a highway, in which case I just switch to the sport mode AT and do my own shifting. It does respond much quicker then.

The ride can be a bit firm at times but since it's a sport compact, that does contribute to stability. It feels nicely planted on the ground even on high speeds.

In terms of economy, a full tank costs about $45 and will last about 400 kms on regular city driving. It only uses regular octane gas so it's pretty affordable.

The interior is nice, not too plastic-y. All panels seem to fit well. The seats are firm yet comfortable and the console is easy to understand.

Reliability-wise, it's excellent. In 3 years, we've only had to replace the wiper blades. It also works excellently in snow with snow tires on.

Cabin and storage space feels a bit limited. It's not too bad for the daily commute but if you're having 3 full grown adults at the back, the people in front may need to pull their seats forward to ensure enough leg room. We recently welcomed a new baby and we wanted to use a convertible car seat. With the car seat on the rear left side, I could only manage to position it properly with the seat nearing max forward position. Not too comfortable. We ended up getting a smaller car seat set on the rear right side and that worked out.

The rear seats fold down flat which is useful in hauling larger items, but with the seats up, the rear hatch trunk might fit a couple of suitcases but not a lot more. Packing camping gear into it was quite challenging.

Overall, it's very reliable and fun to drive. It can be quick when you want it, which is essential in highway driving. It's very stable as well. It's an ideal daily driver, as long as you're not hauling large items around.

Could be better.
Terrible in the winter and extremely uncomfortable on long drives. The back seat barely has any room and would never be able to have someone sleep back there. The back doors don't open wide enough either so getting things in the car is a struggle. The car provides no leg room or space to move around and get comfy. The rear view window and mirrors are horrendous as well. I wouldn't recommend getting one but I do like the exterior.

Amazing value for price of the car
I have never owned a small car until this Mazda 3 and it drives much better than I expected. I am tall so it takes a bit of fiddling with the seat and telescoping/tilt steering wheel to get the right fit.

Drove it to Calgary and back and very pleased with the feel on the highway and on the gas consumption.

It has a lot of pep and I think of it as a 'happy' and it's not because of the smile on the front grill!

I bought it as a 2nd car for the family. It has been the run around car and we save the SUV for the dogs and for when the Mazda 3 is already being used. My kids are moving out and I don't need 2 cars. I'd love to keep it but it won't fit my 2 big dogs.

It's not too shabby
I like my Mazda Hatchback overall, but there are some flaws.

First, the comfort of the seats is lacking. On longer road trips my back definitely feels it and the passengers agree that it isn't the most comfortable ride.

Secondly, I purchased a "rust protector" at the Mazda dealership when I bought the vehicle and not even a year later the A/C was making odd sounds and they found rust in a part and had replace it. What's up with that?

The pros are good though, I find the fuel economy not too bad and the car is really fun to drive (standard all the way). The engine isn't very loud.

Also, the interior design is one of my favourite parts of the car because when I was comparing it to other vehicles, NONE looked good.

I would recommend the Mazda, but it is my first car so I don't have much to compare it to.
