Ford Taurus 1986-2016Change

We have had this car for 4 years and its only had minor issues with the brakes and tire alignment.. which mess up in time anyways but other then that no problems great car! Diamond in the rough.

It was alright until i got in an acceddent with it (rear ending someone). overall i enjoyed the style very much and it was helpfully big when it came to golfing.

Great value for the money! I bought this car last year as my first car, and I have not had any problems with it. The outside is not that pretty, but its a decent car overall!

I drove this car since 2006 and had minimum cost of operation while enjoying the smooth ride .During this time it started on the coldest of mornings and never gave a failing performance .The vehicle only has 90500 km with many being made on Florida trips.

I drove this Taurus since 2006 and is dependable and sound. The body is clean and th motor and transmission are very sound .The oil has been changed on a regular basis and it is inspected until Oct 2013.You couldn't go wrong with this vehicle.

The older Ford Taurus is a nice car . I do not understand why Ford changed it and priced it out of the average person's range.

Hasn't failed me yet, good for city driving. Room for kids, decent interior, very comfortable. One of the best Ford's I've owned.

I have had my taurus for 3 years now and it has over 340k kms on it. It is great in the snow gets decent milage and has not let me down . I do regular oil changes and now run a semi synthetic oil in it. I use it everyday to get me to and from work. Would recommend this car to anyone as a work vehicle.

I have had the car 6 months, no problems at all, only complaint is I would prefer a little better economy but it is an AWD model so I shouldnt complain too much. Had an Acura TL previously and enjoy the feel fo this car much more.

this car was great easy on gas great for going on trips drove to toronto was such a comfortable ride and gas wise very affordable

This car gets really terrible gas mileage, considering its age. It gets 20MPG, which means it's a HUGE gas guzzler!

The interior is comfortable to sit in, and the ride is very smooth.

The cup holders are in an awkward spot, that makes using the gear shifter annoying (you can knock a cup out of the holder just by putting the car in drive!).

We've had very few maintenance problems with ours. Wheel bearings have went multiple times, we had to change the starter once, the alternator has went, and the air conditioning / heating system has a problem. Other than that, it's a dream to drive.

we had rent it 3 times, and it shows a good performance plus it is too comfortable. I enjoyed it's interior design and also exterior design. the leather seats provide good comfort.

I didnt own this car for long but while i did i was pleased it didnt have 1 area it was great it but it was a very well rounded car for what i used it for which was work, family get togethers, driving kids to school cant really complain about it that much i had a few parts give out but thats natural with a car

made a big mistake buying it i paid too much for it had problems with the engine and the check engine light was on all the time had probles with the breaking system for some reason i was always fixing flat tires or pumping air had to spend too much money on gas and oil checksit was my first car and i practically learned to drive with it but i dont think i am ever buying another one eventhough i always liked ford

I purchased my 2005 Ford Taurus in 2007. It has been a very reliable vehicle for 5 years with no mechanical problems. regular maintenance expense is the only costs I have encountered. The vehicle gets decent milage: is comfortable to drive: handles well in snow and icy conditions. The one complaint I have is the wind noise is a little louder than I like. Overall a solid reliable vehicle.

cheap car and great reliability. great gas milage and for being a 96 this is still my daily driver and never has let me down

Nothing fancy, bit of an old person car but does the trick. Have had the car since 2008 and have only had to replace the gas tank and muffler.

I have driven this car through rain, ice, snow, blizzards, and of course sunshine. Up and down highways, 1000kms round trip every weekend for 2 years, to the tune of 295,000 kms right now and it has never complained, batted a light or left me stranded. All the little things that make it my most reliable friend, through thick and thin, we always win! Loaded with electric sunroof, a/c, power everything including the seats, lots of room for luggage, with it's savvy cranberry colour, smokey tinted glass, custom rear spoiler...it's still a contender for 'tres cool' to drive....and they call it a 'Sedan'?

This car has always been nothing but good news! I have never had one single problem with my Taurus. Bravo to Ford!

I love everything about this car! It is big enough for family outings, tough enough for Canadian winters, and luxious enough for nights on the town. The massaging and heated seats are the icing on the cake. And something that will always make me happy is it has amazing fuel economy, especially for a full size car. The new Taurus is a true treasure to the Ford line up!

Had it as a rental for two weeks. Was brand new, 10000km.
Had only one thing I liked about this car: comfortable and roomy interior. Ugly exterior, dull interior.
Nothing special on performance, check engine light came on a few hours after i got it and when I called I was asked if I put the gas cap on. I didn't even touch it and yes, it was on.
Pretty bad on gas.

I loved this car. It had comfort and lots of room fit the bulky car seats. Parts are not to expensive when it came to maintenance. Overall great car to have.

Owned this car from 80,000 and three years old, to 240,000km and 11 years old. SO I totaled up 160,000km and 8 years on it.

Durring that time I had NO major work done on it. Reg maintenance and brakes, tires etc etc...

Bought this car brand new in 2003 and it has been a decent car to me since then. It is comfortable and decently roomy on the inside. The features like the power seat and mirrors and convenient and the seats are tolerable on long drives. The fuel mileage is average taking $65 to fill (Gas is $1.24 here) with the 3.3L V6 and it lasts me about 2 weeks going to work and back. However with only 90,000km on it I have rust growing in both the rear tire wells and starting under the doors. The heater core went, along as the resistor to control the fan speeds. When I climbed in the car one morning and closed the door a piece of the interior door trim fell right off into my lap and has been difficult to replace. Overall the car has been a pleasure to drive in terms of power and comfort but the deteriorating exterior and interior are red flags for me. I notice a lot of Taurus's have rust in the same spots as mine.

I have this car since 2003 and really has not really gave any major problem's . I am planning to change since my mileage is now at 269 0000 .and gas wise its a killer
