Base Model 2000 Ford Ranger
This has been a great truck for me and has done everything I've asked of it. It's a die hard vehicle that won't die or leave you stranded.
Fuel economy isn't the greatest, but Rangers haven't ever been known for their gas sipping. My truck came with the bare essentials (no A/C), but the stereo, cabin and seat were very comfortable for long drives.
Best part of this truck has got to be the flare side options. With the short cab and bed, the proportions on this are great. Classic lines.

Spent minimal money on maintenance
I have replaced the radiator and other than that I have not had any other problem. Just regular oil changes.

It is what it is
I still think there is a market for the small truck. The ride is rough, the back end dances all over and the payload and towing just isn't there.
