2011 Ford Crown Victoria

2011 - Final Year For a Great Car!!
I've owned a 2001, 2002, 2007, 2008, 2009 and lastly a 2011. A Great reliable car that is very powerful, but is also very fuel efficient for it's size, all equipment is heavy duty and OPP units are the best maintained police units in the province, and mainly are driven on 400 series highways. City police cars are very abused and spend tremendous hours idling. Just compare an OPP kilometers to hours ratio to a city police car. This car can fit 5 adults in comfort and also carry all their luggage in it's large trunk. This car handles very good, and is also great handling in snow storms. The heavy duty brakes makes stopping an ease. The power driver's seat with multi position lumbar support is great on long trips. The Cd player holds 6 cd's and has easy change in dash system. I just moved on to the "New Interceptor" that Ford has replaced The Crown Victoria with, a Taurus. I already miss the space of the Crn Vic, I hope the 3.5 L V6 is as reliable as the 4.6L V8!!

I love to drive this beauty!
I have owned this car for 3 1/2 years. It has proven to be very reliable & very reasonable on fuel; in fact it gives the same fuel economy as my Dodge Caravan in the city & better on the highway. It is very responsive to drive & clearly performs like you'd expect from Ford's tried & true 4.6 L V8.

Sad to see them go.
One of the last great cars. Reliable, timeless styling, and comfort. Now most cars are cheap and uncomfortable. Gas mileage can be good if you drive like an old person around the city, but on the highway these cars just cruise. I have 3 that is how much I love them.

Great powerfull big car good headlight systim safe
I owned one for a few weeks, i got into a crash with it at 80 kph with a phone post, it held up pretty good and i did not get hurt the impact was on the passenger side a bit of the floor plate was dented but nothing major, car was a write off, but i found its v-8 302 is better on gas then the 302 in my 1969 meteor the crown vic had fuel injection, had a lot of power, it was so quiet i can hear the gears in the transmission when in second or first up hills if i listened close enough, the v-8 302 can be a really quiet motor, but it had so much power sometimes it would accidentally lay rubber, the headlight was easy to change to, but it may be hard to work on because there is a lot of parts and a big motor under a little hood, for some reason the passenger door did not lock from the inside but the car was over 20 years old, felt like it needed to be lubricated, it had the automatic heat control, it really confused me or did not work right, it did not blow very warm heat sometimes either, or im used to the high output heater in my 1975 ford, that thing really puts out heat, the electric seat had some glitches, but it was a over 20 year old car, it also had over drive witch made a huge difference on the freeway, but in the mountain roads of british columbia canada, the little hills on the highway would be noticeable in over drive so i would have to switch out sometimes, and also to go up the big mountain hills, my 19 year old friends liked the car too, the trunk in it is a good sise to, really good sise, i found the stearing wheel was a bit to small to, it has nice indacator lights in the dash panel to and a good sounding stock radio, it was one of the best cars i ever had, im getting another one but newer

A good car
I bought this car in July 2013 after owning a 96 Base model. It has 160000KM and feels like a new car. This is the 3rd and best car i have owned.

The fuel economy is not the best depending on what kind of driver you are. If you are not hard on the car, It is a great car for gas millage. If you accelerate very fast and always drive fast, it will cost you more on Gas.

All in all, It is a Awesome car.

1991 Ford Crown Victoria

the boat
the 1991 ford crown victoria is a cruise ship on wheels. it has a very box-like design and comes across as a big family car. but hidden beneath the cars inconspicuous exterior dwells a powerful engine. this powerhouse makes passing other vehicles on the highway a breeze. on top of all that, the crown vic is a comfortable/smooth ride.

Rides beautifully, The last of the Great sedans.
Before having a 1992 LX, I had a 1998 CVPI (Police Sedan). Crown Victoria's reliability, performance, RWD, general toughness make this car one that isn't really found anymore. My '92 also happens to be pretty good on Gas, generally getting me an average of 12L/100Km (20.0 Mpg)

2003 Ford Crown Victoria

all around awesome car
my experience with the 2003 ford Crown Victoria police interceptor has been a great one. Firstly the style of the car is beautiful with its hard lines and aggressive face the car just looks intimidating. The interior is soft and is so inviting to sit on the car is perfect for long trips. Last but certainly not least the performance of the car is incredible, the 4.6 v8 puts out more then enough horsepower and torque to get the big car going quickly. Being rear wheel drive allows yo to have endless amounts of fun all year round burning the tires off. the car also has the capability for so many upgrades it becomes limitless.

V8 Base Model CRN VIC
Nearly unbelievable performance
on whole this car is nearly invincable.
breaks lasted me 150 k
Engine still pumps out more than 250 hp.
Rear end proved to be a weak point. less than $1000 for Re n Re.
Not easy on gas. In conjunction with the V8 it also has a 3.55 rear end. improving performance again, and hurting overall fuel rates.

Not Bad For a Grandpa Car
We bought this car used, about a year ago. We have had no problems with it at all. It has been reliable, very comfortable to ride in. It is nothing fancy but it is a good car. It is very big though so it doesn't fit very well in tight parking spaces.

Comfy
As most US made cars Crown Victoria is very comfortable and roomy. There is enough space for lots of stuff and kids. it is very good car for long drives howevere it's not reliable car specially after 5 years, if you buy new car. Also, it's fuel economy is very poor, which is very important concidering the fuel prices. Pluse, it's loosing it's value very quickly compare to europian or japanies cars.

i love this car
My crown vic has been nothing but awsome to me and my family. There is plenty of room that even 3 car seats fit in the back seat. the trunk is the best because it is so big that i can go camping or spend 400 on groceries and they fit. i love this car.

Had this car for a couple of years now. No major problems, just get in and go. These are some of the most comfortable cars you'll ever drive. If you're lucky enough to have your pcu turned to interceptor mode these cars are FAST!
