Volkswagen Passat 1995-2017Change

Great little car to me. Would not be selling it if I had the money to afford it. Drives great and very comfortable!! You will not be dissapointed with this car.

This is a great vehicle to own. It is very reliable and very durable. I have had it for the last 4 years and it has been a very good car during that time. I enjoy the power and control of the car as well as how it looks both inside and out.

With a powerful 3.6L V6 and AWD this Passat has been a fun car to drive. Tremendous passing speed, quick response and paddle shifting makes it great for touring twisting country roads. Adaptive headlights really help here as well providing a great view of the road even around sharp corners. Leather heated seats provide lots of leg room. Plenty of room for adults in the back as well. Ample trunk space made this car great for our family of five on even longer trips.

The Passat 4Motion is a perfect blend of performance, safety and comfort. With all available creature comforts and features you would expect in a luxury sedan, and all-wheel drive to make winter driving a breeze, you couldn't ask for much more. I have really enjoyed this car and I'm sad to give it up. The result of my constant care and attention over the years is that this Passat looks almost as good as the day I drove it home. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

We have owned our 03 Passat Wagon 4motion (AWD) since new in the fall of 2002 - so it is now 11 years old. The body style has stood the test of time. It still looks good and we are often asked if it is new. A beautiful riding highway car, unstoppable in the snow, safe and always reliable. Aside from regular maintenance, no service problems to report.

This car has been a joy to drive . It handles the roads extremely well and is still as solid as the day I bought it. It has a comfortable ride and has always made me feel safe and secure behind the wheel. Handles well in all weather conditions especially winter driving. I have recently retired and no longer need multiple cars. It has has many years of life left in it.

Recently purchased this vehicle as a first german car and i must say i'm thoroughly impressed by the driving dymanics, power, handling, fuel economy and overall comfort. For the amount of power i get, the fuel economy is decent. The car looks and sounds great, best part - it's not a common car so you don't blend into the crowd!

Handsome interior, very comfortable seating, intelligently-designed controls. Lots of torque with the diesel engine, crisp acceleration with the 6-speed manual transmission, and wonderful economy: Kingston, Ontario to Manhattan and return on 70L . After 20 months and 34,000 km, I sometimes wish the dashboard and door panel materials were softer/more luxurious, but the excellent quality of the design and assembly are more important, and I only have to go for another drive to remind myself how well-designed and beautifully-put- together this new Passat is. The TDI option, with the 6-speed manual or dual-clutch automatic, is the option to choose - 5.4L/100km on the highway, and 6.4 in city driving, consistently. My mileage would be better if I drove more slowly, but that's hard to do in the Passat.

You could switch between Automatic or manual (stick) transmission, both works perfectly and smooth. Green Passat: Amazing Engine, Tints on windows, Comes with a cd player, Aux wire, spare tire, jack for changing tires, rims comes with it, car remote control door open/close. Sun roof could be fixed cause it doesn't open, need to replace left signal light cover (pretty cheap $25).

This car has been very good to me. I'm looking to upgrade so I am selling. I don't have any complaints about the car.

Great car. Fun to drive in all weather conditions. Used for all family trips. As the family grows so must our vehicles. We have upgraded to a SUV to fit all the stuff!

When I was 19 My dad decided to pick me up a new car. When I walked out of my house to see my new Passat waiting I was excited. I jumped in and was already wowed by the beautiful interior of the car. When you get in you'll see a nice black sleek stick shift with a beautiful sound system front. It allows 5 cds/ am-fm radio and all your normal temp stuff. Now onto the fun part. driving. This car is nice. It also has a nice notable turbo function. when you speed up you can get to speeds extremely fast. The turning is also one of the smoothest I've ever driven probably only rivaled by the Mazda 6. The 2008 Passat is really one amazing Car even now. Only complaint is It could really use the nice fuel efficiency some cars have today.

We bought this car new in '05 and it has generally run great ever since, although we did have to put in a new motor this year. However, my husband puts around 200km on it every day. We originally bought it because it was a diesel and for the excellent gas mileage. It doesn't get the same mileage as it did when new but overall I love the car and would definitely would buy another one!

We love our Passat. We have had it about 6 months now and other than a few minor details with the mechanic fixing it, there hasn't been much to complain about. We bought it second hand from an older couple, which means we got lucky and there was nothing really wrong with it at all.
Other than having to use premium gasoline, which is expensive enough, it seems to use the same amount of fuel as our last vehilce did.

This is my primary vehicle and I travel quite a bit for my work. It has great fuel economy and a very comfortable ride. It has great interior design and exterior design. You can reach into the truck through the backseat which is a very great feature. Definitely worth considering!

Handles like a dream. Unparalleled fuel economy. Yeah I sound like an ad (hence review title) but I have nothing but praise for this vehicle--and I have owned it close to a year!

We've had this car for 2 years now. Drives great and works well. We love it. The trunk is large and we have 3 kids in car seats in the back seat. Great family vehicle.

Owned it for 8 years. What a ride! Recommend this for people who like great pick up and smooth ride. The seats are heated too. Because the car is so heavy, it does not skid in winter. Even when the trucks would be swaying, VW Passat would be stable as rock. Driven through snow storms with no problems. Must own.

Easy car to drive, with comfortable heated seats for those cold mornings. great on fuel too. Maintenance is every 5 years so its easy to look after. All around good car.

For $500 the extra turbo boost torque makes this feel like another car. Fast off the line and passing cars. VW/Audi uses this engine/drive train (manual here) in their sports car so after 260KKm I find no additional wear and tear except upgrading some vacuum hoses. This is well versed on the web and I had a year to look for it before it was necessary.
The front wheel 4 link suspension is great for keeping all that low RPM torque spread out evenly across both front tires on sharp corners and drips. I increased the tire width one size to help use all the torque in 2nd gear. It goes past 80kms/hr pretty fast in 2nd before you even want to shift.
12 year anti perforation warranty on galvanized body panels with factory under coating help make the car look good after 13yrs. Bought it 2nd hand after 50KKM with leather interior and premium sound system. It was in great condition and continues to be. The turbo boost is rarely used in normal driving so the fuel mileage is good at 8L/100km as shown on the dash display. Although it does require premium fuel.
My wife is not aggressive with the accelerator so she doesn't really notice any difference in her car except half the passing time on 2 way highways. I drive an 98 Audi A4 with the same chassis so there is much on common for the home mechanic. Don't buy new and drive it for a long time. You drive a better car and save a fortune over your life.

Been using this car for 5 years haven't had any problem with it. Very good front wheel for winter. I will recommend this car to anyone

The passat is so comfortable and luxurious, the german technology is amazing. Drives smooth like no other car, you can barely feel any batches or bumps. Very reliable. maintenaince can be very pricey but other than that this car gives a luzury feeling without breaking your wallet.

Looks much more modern that the year would suggest. Very spacious interior. Huge trunk. Fuel efficient.
