Mitsubishi 1991-2017Change

This has by far been my favourite vehicle to date. I'm going to miss having a manual transmission, the great responsiveness of this vehicle and the comfort of driving it. For a vehicle that's almost 10 years old, it has very low kilometres compared to other vehicles of the same age.

cars do not come much better than this, exceptional handling - last year only car that was driven out of parking during storm.
where ever you point this is where you will go - so simple but so few cars can do it.

This is the best handling car I have ever driven and probably the best from price point as well, you can go wrong with allwheel drive and a turbo.

The Eclipse GT is such a fun car to drive, tons of power excellent handling. Even after 7 years I still love to get into this car each morning and I still get the odd "nice car" from people walking by. It has a timeless design, Mitsubishi would be hard pressed to come up with anything that topped the style and looks of this car.

It's a good quality SUV that is great on gas. The AWD is perfect for the winter and the sunroof for the summer. The only big problem I had after 10 years was the suspension. And, once I replaced the whole rear end, it drives like new.

It's a solid SUV.

Had this vehicle for 5 yrs, 105km. so far only did regular maintainance. no major issues change battery after 3 yrs. very reliable. definitely would recommend.

A smooth ride in a powerful engine. Love this car. Fuel economy is a little bad as compared to other V6 engines but you can clearly feel the difference when start on a green light leaving all vehicles behind.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse has come a long way since its turbocharged four-cylinder 4wd heyday in the '90s, when it earned a deserved cult following. Since then, like the rest of us, it has grown up and grown a paunch, now weighing 3560 pounds. Some of that flab derives from its beefy platform, which the Eclipse shares with the Galant sedan and Endeavor SUV. In any event, it's now become more of a grand tourer than a back-roads blaster.

On the other hand, this swoopy, organic hatch has also grown more refined. For starters, Mitsubishi has banished most of the old torque steer, even though all of the 3.8-liter SOHC V-6's thrust is funneled through the front tires--which are quick to howl in protest, in case you forget what 263 horses can do. This latest Eclipse cruises serenely until you zing the V-6 to its 6500-rpm redline, where it aurally resembles something created by Alfa Romeo. The ride is hugely improved, too, even as body motions remain nicely controlled. Push hard, however, and all you'll ever uncover is understeer.

Complete joy to drive in all weather conditions, the Turbo/AWD/TC-SST is very safe and plenty powerful without consuming gas like a V6. The Recaro seats are amazingly supportive in turns and on long trips; the shifter and steering wheel/paddles are super high quality, like out of a much more premium/lux vehicle. Automatic climate control/steering wheel controls are a big convenience plus. Love the style and rarity of the vehicle too. Only knock against the interior would be the fit of some panels, it's low-grade plastic, but the money is under the hood, in the exterior, in the seats and steering wheel, as mentioned.

This is a reliable and economical vehicle, the best choice for city! Not too big - easy to park in downtown, and not too small - 4wd and high clearance - it's great for winter time! Also this car is very cheap at service.

Fabulous looking car. Great ride and very nippy with great gas performance. I love it. The automatic roof is so easy, just press a button. Sound system to great. I have had so many comments on how stylish this car is.

It has a sharp look and good interior space. The ride is generally smooth and comfortable, and the car's not too big and easy to maneuver and park. Steering is precise and has some weight and AWD is nice in some conditions. Fuel economy is also decent and reliability rock solid. These check all the box of being good a chick car.

My wife wasn't impressed though. Her biggest praise goes to the fancy moon roof and the punchy stereo, sad though because both have nothing to do with Mitsubishi themselves. We both didn't like the sloppy acceleration with the CVT especially in the hilly terrain in Vancouver. A stick should be much better. Cornering ability is poor even in crossover standard. I wished for a bit longer cargo area as its just an inch too short for a full size suitcase. The rear seats are too upright for passengers to be comfortable in longer trips. These are the only major complaints but enough to made us decide to trade it away for a traditional station wagon after just 9 months of ownership. You really have to spend more time in the car before u know if it is a right car for you.

Never had any issues at all with this car. Always is the center of attention when driving down the street. Car purrs!

This car has been just perfect. Bought it new in 2005, and it hasn't given any major problems, besides regular oil changes, break pads, or light bulbs. It drives perfect, light frame gives the flexibility at it's finest! Very steady on the road in any conditions (rain, wind, snow, ice, you name it).
It's a great car for new drivers, gives the ability to learn and get comfortable with driving due to small frame and smooth operating. It's also amazing for those pros who like the control and fun on the road! It looks small from the outside, but is very spacious inside with a great visibility for any blind spots or parking! Lots of leg room for front and back seats, as well as lots of space for carrying sports or any other equipment. It is very fuel efficient, giving ~400km in town/traffic, and around ~650-700km on the highway for full-tank. New or used this car will serve you for many years, saving you money on repairs and gas.

I've been getting close to 700km on a full tank of gas. Rides nice, CORNERS WELL, AND GETS AWAY FROM YOU IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL.

Very comfortable for a sports car. 4 seats so you can take your friends with you. 3 Liter V6 and 5 speed manual is a great combo. handles like a dream. Pretty fuel efficient for a v6, i am getting about 10 L/100 km.

Driving this car is so smooth. Very comfortable, and it is very easy to drive. I would not buy any other car

It is a great car. Very reliable indeed. Good on fuel economy.
I love the large sun roof, almost the whole ceiling. I have the AWC or All Wheel Control. Limited production with switch 2 to 4 wheel drive. Great on the snow and icy roads. Full of great systems for power distribution and ABS, etc...
I would recommend to anyone who love to drive in style for low cost. Mitsubishi offered 10 Year/160,000 kms Powertrain Warranty, 5 Year/100,000 kms Comprehensive coverage, and 5 Year/Unlimited Roadside Assistance. They kept their word so far and made only one recall and completed in one day.

Strong mitsubishi engine known to go forever,I have owned this car for years and never had to do anything but oil changes.This vechicle has been serviced at mitsubishi yearly and always comes back with nothing wrong.Never seen winter,originally a california car.A great car.

this is one of the cleanest cars in the market. You will not have to spend a dime on the car. Also excellent on gas.

I am the second owner and bought this car from the Mitsubishi dealership, the car have few scratches here and there and is inevitable with the Canadian weather but I tried my best to keep it in a very good condition. Very well maintained inside and out. I moved downtown and I do not require this vehicle anymore.

This car is very fun to drive and the possibilities of modifications are endless.

The Recaro seats are great and once you replace the stock amplifier the sound system is pretty good too.

This vehicle has every tech upgrade you could want like rain sensing wipers, proximity key for keyless entry and starting, Adjustable headlights, excellent bluetooth and steering wheel controls. The heated seats are great. AWD in the winter can't be beat.

I've driven this car for about 1 year and I absolutely love the drive, especially with the Rockford Fosgate Premium Surround Sound Entertainment system. It makes your drive much more comfortable during a long day to just relax and kickback
