Overall a great vehicle
I purchased this vehicle new back in 2004. Overall it has treated me very well. Fuel mileage is good - i get just over 400km per tank.

I did have a serious issue with the "computer".... everyone had a very hard time diagnosing my "revving" issue (sitting in park & car would be sitting at 3-4 rpms). Three different mechanic shops looked at it & finally someone figured it out - my computer was fried & had to be replaced. Lots of $$$ & of course this problem came about after my warranty expired.

It truly has been a good vehicle except for the major computer issue.

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer

by SamD92 on 03-24-2014
Very Happy with it
I am very happy with my lancer 2.0L

It's pretty good on gas. I fill up approx. every 2 weeks, about $50-60 each time. I get about 600km out of a tank.

The interior is pretty nice. Comfortable seats, even has seat warmers for those cold winters. There is a lot of hard plastic, I don't mind but some people don't like that. There is tons of trunk space, and you can extend the trunk by folding down the back seats. The front and back seats both have lots of leg room.

The exterior looks sporty, especially the front. The stock body kit makes it look lower than it really is, giving the illusion of a lowered car. The hood and the rest of the front looks very beefy/sporty. The back/trunk end, however, does look very basic.

I have been impressed by its performance. It is very quick off the line, and has great acceleration.

I've had this car for a year and haven't had any problems. The most I have had to deal with is low tire pressure and oil changes aka basic maintenance.

Best Sedan
Drivin' only city to city. Home to work, work to home! Not bad at all impressive appearing motorcarThe Mitsubishi Lancer family of compact sedans and hatchbacks stand out as different, yet confounding. It's hard to make a case for the most of the Lancer lineup–unless you're considering at the finely honed Lancer Evolution--an all-wheel-drive track star--or the satisfying, sporty Ralliart. That's become increasingly true with the long list of recently redesigned models in this class, like the excellent Hyundai Elantra, the very comfortable Chevy Cruze, or the particularly stylish and fun-to-drive Focus.

2013 Mitsubishi Lancer

Very good value
I was looking for an AWD car that is not too expensive to confront Quebec's snowy winter. I also wanted a good warranty and four doors. While there were other options, the best value was the Mitsubishi. What sold me are the following points:
1- The engine in the AWC is the 2.4 l Mivec
2- The CVT has a sportshift mode with 2 paddle shifters
3- The warranty is great
4- The price is right (very good value)
5- It's roomy and fits the whole family
6- It has a top security score in the IIHS
7- It looks very good (it stands out amongst the compact sedans)

2012 Mitsubishi RVR

by 123ontario on 03-07-2014
POS
Have had this car for 1 year. One. Yes, one year. The hood is rusting from a stone chip that Mitsubishi refused to fix in the first 6 months of owning it. There is a rattle in the steering column that they have tried to fix 3 times, unsuccessfully. Something in the rear suspension has gone as well, can't wait to see what that is and what else they won't cover under warranty! The Mitsubishi car keys break - happened with my Lancer as well. Plastic breaks where the key ring goes through, then you can't even put the key on a key ring. Have even tried dealing with Mitsubishi Canada "Customer Relations" in Mississauga and they couldn't care less.

The vehicle is GUTLESS and gas mileage is horrible for this size of engine. Straight up, the RVR is a cheap POS. "Best backed vehicles" is also a complete load of garbage too. Oh, but it is good in the snow and I only have front wheel drive.

If I can steer anyone away from these vehicles, here it is.

A Real Diesel Engine
I purchased this Delica in Inuvik Augusr 2012 & drove it down the Dempster Hwy & throughout the Yukon. This is a real diesel vehicle & handles like a truck. During winter, she needs to be plugged & let idle before hitting the road.. If you're for off-road - this is a great mountain rig with moveable seats into a bed..

This SUV will take you anywhere you want to go. Suprisingly the v6 puts out a lot of horsepower for a small engine (its got pep). We have two kids and a small dog, the endevour has enough room to sit everyone comefrtably. No issues with our vechicle since we purchased it brand new with the exception of the normal wear and tear items. Very reliable.

Whether its snow, gravel, or tarmac, this car can conquer it all. ITs fast when you want it to be but also very appropriate for the day to day activities. 2012 Mitsubishi RVR

This Car is not made for Western Canada
I'm only writting this because I have had a reoccuring issue 4 times already in one year that has dubbed this car "unreliable one" - (only in cold weather)
Even with this car being plugged in it will go in a " System Immobilzation Mode" some days it will start and others it will not, and it could be just as cold outside on the days it will start and not start.
This vehicle is completely digital so theres nothing you can do except call Roadside Assistance and have it towed.- I think they know me by name now.
Its super inconvient like anything going wrong on a car, but its happened back to back days so I was late for my first and second day of work of my new job, it happened again after they switched out the relay twice on the third time they insulated the starter a week in a half later I'm on a ski trip with family and we are stranded 5 hours from home having to rent a vehicle to make it home.
I'm really hoping Mitsubishi will do something for me here... stay tuned as I got back from my ski trip late last night and I'm still waiting on what will unfold.
One positive I must say though if you live in warmer climates want a stylish fuel econmy AWD crossover - this would be fabulous.

2003 Mitsubishi LANCER RALLIART

by ej1 on 01-04-2014
Reliability with Style
The OZ Ralliart with manual transmission is a fun car. Its good visibility, clean lines and interior roominess is what initially drew me to this vehicle. Passengers always comment on the ample leg room in both the front and back. The generous trunk is welcomed. The sunroof, spoiler, AC and cruise control adds to its comfort and style. The fuel consumption is fair but not noteable. As sole owner of a 2003, my Lancer was reliable with style!

Outstanding car
Agile, reliable, smart and well built (if you leave your interior or exterior lights on they shut off way before the battery gets close to draining). I have gotten the fuel mileage as low as 5.1 L/100 yet the power is there when you need it due to the CVC engine. I've looked under the car, its built to last compared to say a Nissan Maxima at double the price its built to less half the quality underneath at the suspension and tie rods.
Smooth drive with no maintenance or warranty work ever needed for me. Will miss this great drive in the lancer hugging corners like a race car

A cute "big cow"
I bought this car about one year and a half ago and thought at first that with that agressive look, this car would fit my needs. Well, what you see is not always what you get. This is the best example. It has seriously got something bad about driving up a hill. Every morning, I never seem to be able to keep the same acceleration pace than the car in front of me making it necessary to use the paddle not to get passed by cars coming from other lanes on that hill. The engine roars like crazy when I take the road but the car never shows such movement. More, when I start the car, it makes the muffler noise of a 15 years old car. This is not a sport drive at all and talking fuel economy, with my 12L/100km average, I prefer the Ford Escape 2008 Drive. At that time, for the same fuel economy, the engine power was delivered instantly to the transmission and never showed delay. I think I prefer anyway spending a few dollars more on gaz and feel confident when trying to fit between two vans when getting on the highway. This was the bad.
The good: nice sound system very automatic when comes to bluetooth capability either for music or voice. The confidence about staying on an icy road is magic and as is for the brakes when something comes up at front. I'm not much into noticing comfort but passenger often have good comments on this. Xeenon Front lights are a must.
Personnaly, I think this car lacks what is most important which is decent power and noise isolant, if its any good thanks to Rockford Fostgate radio system.

2010 Lancer
I bought the 2010 Lancer brand new, and in 3 years I have put 150,000 km on it. I have not put a penny into this vehicle outside of regularly scheduled maintenance and the car still works great. It is smooth, comfortable and has a great stereo as part of the sun & sound package offered in 2010 that included a 710 watt Rockford Fosgate Stereo (9-speaker) along with a sunroof. The powertrain warrantly is still good to 160,000km which gives some piece of mind as well.

All year round this car performs and has never let me down. For two years I drove over 100 km to get to work 5 days a week and never had an issue, even in the winter. Couldn't be happier with the vehicle.

This vehicle has been absolutely amazing. Very smooth, quiet and comfortable and very reliable. We knew it was a good vehicle but as soon as it started to snow we were blown away.
