NEW FOR 2010:
- Three-row seating standard on all models
- New trim lines
For 2010, the Volvo XC90 becomes a seven-passenger vehicle exclusively, with the five-passenger seating available for 2009 discontinued. Trim lines have also been modified, with three available models, plus an optional R-Design package.
The XC90 is available with a 3.2-litre inline six-cylinder engine, or a 4.4-litre V8. Both use a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode, and both include electronically-controlled all-wheel drive. Trim levels are the 3.2 AWD, 3.2 AWD Luxury, and V8 AWD Executive. The 3.2 can be optioned with the R-Design package.
Features on the 3.2 AWD include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, power rear child locks, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, comfort chassis, speed-sensitive steering, front and rear fog lights, headlight washers, heated mirrors with puddle lamps and integrated turn signals, privacy glass, roof rails, leatherette and cloth seats, driver’s power seat, fold-flat front passenger seat, 40/20/40 split-folding rear seat, integrated second-row centre child booster seat, CD stereo, auto-dimming rearview mirror, compass, cruise control, garage door opener, illuminated vanity mirrors, illuminated locking glovebox, floor mats, outside temperature gauge, auto up/down front windows, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, trip computer, and variable intermittent wipers.
The 3.2 AWD Luxury adds 18-inch alloy wheels, blind spot information system, mass movement sensor, level sensor, active headlights, power sunroof, heated leather seats, power passenger seat, wood steering wheel, wood accents, rain-sensing wipers, rear headphone outlets, and rear parking assist.
The R-Design package adds 19-inch alloy wheels, colour-coordinated door handles, wheel arches and mouldings, front and rear skid plates, polished exhaust tips, aluminum accents, and black-faced gauges.
The V8 AWD Executive builds on the 3.2 AWD Luxury and adds aluminum roof rails, colour-coordinated door handles, wheel arches and mouldings, and premium 12-speaker DynAudio stereo system.
